Dawn comes in much before it's supposed to be. Some faint whoosing sounds wake Bucky up. He blinks once and furrows his brows a bit. He looks to his left to find Sam's nephews playing with the shield.
"Hey." Bucky says softly and waves his hand at the kids. His voice startles the kids.
"Put it back." AJ says to Cass. Both the kids place the shield down and run away.
Bucky smiles at the kids and looks down at the woman fast asleep in his arms. His thoughts fly back to last evening when Zayrah mentioned, 'considering retirement'. Was she hinting towards what he's thinking? Considering retirement because she now has him.. because she wants to live with him? Too many questions, but he is unwilling to overthink. All of this is very new. The future is uncertain. Especially now, with the Karli situation.
Thoughts keep flooding in. From his days back in HYDRA to fighting Thanos to where he is now. Probably he'd figure things out, make this relationship stronger than it already is.
He feels Zayrah stir. She tightens her grip around him. Bucky returns the gesture lovingly. He rubs his right palm on her back. His left hand firm on het waist.
"Morning, Doll." Bucky says softly.
"Mhmm." Zayrah mumbles making Bucky chuckle.
"I gotta get up, Doll. Sam needs help." Bucky says kissing on her head.
"Morning." Zayrah says, this time more clearly. She crawls upwards and places a kiss on his exposed neck.
"Since when are you awake?" Zayrah asks fiddling with his dog tags.
"Not long. Maybe five or ten minutes." Bucky pauses. "Sam's nephews were playing, and thanks to my hearing, the whooshes and hisses hit my ears like a truck." He chuckles.
Zayrah laughs along with him.
"Hey. I have to get up, Jade." Bucky says effortlessly lifting the woman up and siting up on the couch.
"Woah their, Sergeant. Show off much." Zayrah roll her eyes.
She leans in a places a soft kiss on his lips. He kisses her back.
Bucky leaves to get cleaned. Zayrah stays seated on the couch, stretching.
Bucky soon comes out of the washroom, bids his girlfriend good bye and goes of to the docks.
Zayrah goes in to get cleaned and change into her clothes. She puts Sarah's clothes in the machine for a wash, after last night's incidents, she couldn't possibly leave them like that.
She puts the clothes in the dryer and goes of to meet the boys at the dock.

Location: Docks
Zayrah finds the guys fiddling with the water pump. She walks up to them and sits beside Bucky. She warily watches the boys struggle with the water pump.
"Okay, So.." Sam tries to say something but another voice floats in.
"Excuse me!" Sarah's voice is heard.
"There should be a three-sixteenth bolt that goes in the big gear." Sam says.
"No." Sarah's voice is heard.
"Nope." Bucky says.
"Uh uh. No no no no no no no." Sarah says walking up to the group.
"What do you mean no? You didn't even look." Sam says to Bucky.
"I didn't have to." Bucky replies lifting arms up.
"Hi, Sarah." Bucky waves to the woman flirtatiously, earning a pinch on his waist. "Ow." He yelps and looks at his girlfriend seated on his right. Zayrah glares at him playfully. Sam looks at him too.
