Location: Berlin, Germany
Zayrah, Bucky and Sam walk through the corridors of a German prison where Zemo is held captive. A security guard accompanying them towards his cell.
"You think this is gonna work?" Zayrah whispers to Sam making sure the guard doesn't hear her.
"I don't know, but metal man here has way too much confidence in this idea of his." Sam whispers back.
"Honestly, I don't trust him on this one. You can't possibly think that this bitch is gonna help you after all he's put your team through." Zayrah says running a a hand through her blonde hair.
"You two do realise that I have enhanced hearing." Bucky says silencing the other two.
"He's just through that corridor." The guard says.
"All right. Give us a sec." Bucky asks the man and he obliges.
"I'm gonna go in alone." Bucky declares.
This makes both Sam amd Zayrah furrow their brows.
"Why?" Sam asks.
"Cause you're an Avenger and she is a SHIELD agent. The most ferocious one of I may add." Bucky says looking at Zayrah for a moment. "You know how he feels about that." he continues.
This makes Sam look at Zayrah in annoyance.
"James, that is not a very good idea. He's not a very reliable person to be around. Not when you've just started getting shit together." Zayrah reminds.
"Look, it's not like you two were known for frolickin' in the sun together." Sam says, annoyance filled in his voice before Bucky could reply.
"He was obsessed with HYDRA." Bucky says to Sam.
He looks at Zayrah and gives a nod, "We have a history together. Trust me. I got it."
Bucky walks away and a door buzzing noise was heard.
Sam looks at Zayrah as they wait for Bucky to come out. Both of them stand outside the prison in a comfortable silence.
"I don't trust Zemo." Sam says.
"Yeah, but I trust Barnes. I'm sure he thought this through." Zayrah says trying to sound confident.
"Yeah, but it's Zemo. He ripped our team apart like we were a damn tissue paper." Sam says with gritted teeth.
Zayrah chooses to stay silent. There wasn't anything she could say to console her friend.
Another wave of silence washes over the corridor untill Bucky comes out of the prison.
"Anything?" Zayrah asks pushing herself off of the wall.
"Yeah. Need to talk to you two." Bucky says lacing his fingers with her as they walk out of the prison compound.
"Go on. We're listening." Sam says.
