Location: Manhattan. At the GRC meeting.
"What's the story there Daryl?" Zayrah asks as she and Bucky reach the GRC meeting.
"We're tracking multiple threats..with complete lockdown...and there is a no-fly zone in effect.. the NYPD is on duty." Daryl rants.
"Okay." Zayrah says and cuts communication. "Sam?" She asks over comms.
"I'm almost there." Sam's voice is heard over comms.
"What's the plan?" Bucky asks as both of them reach the front side of the building.
"Karli's gonna be close. Keep your eyes open." Sam says.
"Well, it could be anybody." Bucky says as the two walk through the security.
"Sergeant Barnes. Agent Waters." The NYPD guards greet them. Bucky walks through without reacting. Zayrah gives them a small nod.
"And by the way, I called in some backup." Sam says.
"Excuse me, sir, ma'am. Are you supposed to be here?" A unfamiliar voice makes the two turn around. Bucky furrows his brows.
"And you are?" Zayrah asks with as emotionless voice.
The man loses his disguise and it turns out to be Sharon. "It's me." She says.
"Sharon, what the hell are you doing here?" Bucky asks.
"Relax. No one's looking for me here." Sharon says making the two turn around and walk further towards the building.
"Do I hear Sharon?" Sam asks.
"Unfortunately." Bucky mutters.
"Hey, Sam. I thought I'd get the band back together." Sharon says as Bucky and Zayrah continue to scan the area.
"Thank you. You're risking a lot coming here." Sam says.
"I hear pardons aren't all they're cracked up to be anyway." Sharon says making Zayrah scoff and look up at Bucky.
"Depends on the therapist." Bucky says.
"Hey. Ssh." Zayrah scolds.
"They'll move on the building soon." Zayrah says scanning the area.
"Be ready." Sam adds.
The three of them walk further into the building. Waiting for something to happen.
"Zayrah? Report?" Daryl's voice floats in. Bucky furrows his brows at her.
"Not dead. Also, don't call right now, Daryl. I'm fine don't worry." Zayrah says and disconnects the calls.
"Sharon, Bucky, Zayrah, what's going on on your end?" Sam asks as the three continue to keep an eye.
"Nothing. All quiet." Bucky replies.
A conversation is heard over comms,
"I'm sorry, wait. Who are you?"
"I'm Captain America."
"I thought Captain America was on the Moon."
"No one's moving toward the building." Sharon says.
