"It's finally time to discuss this matter" Kei said sitting with his legs cross and a serious expression. The two Smith siblings nod in agreement. There was a lot of tension in the air.
While Hikari had their head laying on the dining table. They wanted to go back to sleep but they're father made them come. He said it was an important family meeting.
"Yes I do think it's time" Cameron exclaim taking a small sip of her herbal tea. "Since it's time for Kei to go to America, we need someone to take care of the child."
"So who's going to America to take care of the child" Eren said taking a bite of his blueberry pie.
"HEY! I'M NOT A CHILD" Kei shouts glaring at the two Smiths.
Hikari taps Eren's shoulder trying to gain his attention. He look down at the youngest who still had their eyes closed but they were sitting up now. They point to their mouth signaling they want some of the pie.
Eren couldn't help but give in and feed the youngest a piece of the pie. Hikari chewed in content still in a daze.
"Hikari~ have some of my chocolate cake" Kei said lifting up his fork with a piece of chocolate cake on it.
"Say ahhh~" Hikari's face had a look of pure disgust on their face. They scoot closer to Eren.
Kei felt an invisible force stab through his heart twice. He scowl at Eren's smug face. "It seems we know who'll be staying with our baby bird" Eren place his arm around Hikari, who was too lazy to say anything about it, snuggle into the oldest Smith.
"NO! I WILL NOT HAVE YOU STEALING MY CHILD! I'M SENDING YOU TWO SHADY SIBLINGS TO AMERICA" Kei tries to grab Hikari only to realize they weren't there anymore. They were in the arms of Cameron.
"Now boys, it seems you two need some bonding time. Me and our little baby bird thinks it'd be best if the two of you go to America. Ain't that right Hikari?" Cameron pats Hikari's head as they were eating their cookie.
"Yeah, I think it'd be great if you two go to America and bond" Eren and Kei look at their 'baby' bird in disbelief and betrayal. Cameron smile proudly at Hikari and hands them another cookie.
"What did you put in those cookies" Eren glare at his sister. Cameron just send him an overly sweet smile.

"Why do I have to go to America?" Kei whines while clinging onto Hikari showing no signs of letting go.
"Dad, it's only for a year. You'll be with Eren too" Hikari explains just letting their father smother them. Even though they didn't show it they were gonna miss Kei's obnoxious presence. He was the one who found them and gave them a home.
"I know but I don't wanna be away from my baby bird. Especially since I have to leave you with one of those shady siblings" Kei sent a harsh scowl towards Cameron who flipped him off in return.
"You should be grateful to them. They'll always have your back even when you're annoying" Kei was about to nod but let out an offended "hey" after hearing the direct insult.
"Come on you two, wrap up the chick-flick moment and let's go" Eren shouts irritated that he had to carry the luggage while the other two have their moment. Kei just sighs in defeat.
"Just a couple more seconds" Kei hugs Hikari tighter. Hikari raise their arms up about to hug back but decided against it. They just snuggle their head into Kei's shoulder.
"Please return back safely"
