Part 1

    (Before: Teresa and Thomas do not work for WCKD. Teresa will not betray them in the future and go work for WCKD again.)

   (Y/N's POV)

   I woke up in a small-ish moving thing. My eyes opened and I tried to take in all of my surroundings. I moved to be on my knees, and I looked up and saw very low lights around. I moved faster up and I screamed. Nobody could hear my cries for help. I suddenly felt the "elevator" stop. A blinding light came from above.

   (Newt's POV)

   We were all gathered around for the arrival of the new boy. I was gonna show them around as every other month, and I was ready for this next one. Another clueless boy, except Teresa, who has been here for a few months, coming up and being terrified of his surroundings.

When Gally and another Glader opened the Box, the Greenie shielded his eyes with his arm.

   Every boy was looking down in the Box now. The Greenie still had his face covered with his arm and we couldn't see anything but their s/c arm. Gally jumped down into the Box.

   When he was more adjusted to the light he, or now we knew it was a she, moved her arm. She showed her beautiful face and even Gally had stopped in his tracks. Usually he would be really mean to the new Greenie, but he was taken aback. Teresa, our first girl, was nowhere near as beautiful as this one.

   "It's another girl!"

  "She's hot!"

   "Back off!"

   "Look at that body!"

   She looked up at everyone with a disgusted look on her face.

  "Excuse me! I'm right here! And I have a personality too, so why can't you all just judge us girls by our personalities and not our looks? Damn!" She snapped.

    Everyone looked around. Minho had a rival for Sass Queen.

  "You're okay, just come up out of the Box and Newt will explain everything to you."

   She looked around suspiciously and took the hand that he was offering her.

   "Can you teach me how to do my eyebrows, too?" She said and laughed.

   He laughed and pulled her up on her feet and helped her out of the box. She let her e/c eyes wander around. I walked up to her.

  "Hi, I'm Newt," I stuck my hand out for her to shake.

  "I'm Y/N."

   "You already know your name?"

   "...yeah...?"

   "Oh. Well, let me explain everything to you."

   (Y/N's POV)

   Newt explained everything to me about "The Glade" and gave me a tour of everything. I could already tell I would be friends (or AHEM) with Newt. He seemed like a very great person to be around and I loved his accent. So calming.

   "Have any questions I didn't answer?" He asked.

  "Uh... am I the only girl here?"

   "No. You're the second. Teresa is the first, and she arrived a couple of months ago."

  "Ok. She's nice?"

   "Yeah, she's really great."

"Oooh~ someone has a crush!"

"Mmm... no."

"Yeah...okay."

   ...

  After the tour, we headed to breakfast. Newt said that I could sit with him and his friends. We walked over and all of them greeted me and told me their names. The girl, Teresa, looked very happy to see me.

  "Well, well, we have another girl!" Minho exclaimed and slow clapped. I rolled my eyes.

  "Yes, you do," I said.

  "I'm so excited! Finally, another girl is here!" Teresa squealed.

   Everyone burst out laughing and some almost choked on their food. Teresa was seriously happy though.

   ...

  After breakfast, everyone wanted to be my friend. They all accepted me into their group. We all became pretty good friends after that.

   Newt and I were walking to the Homestead. I was going to have a lot of free time since I was starting job training tomorrow, and he decided he would keep me company.

  We talked and laughed a lot. He was really, really great but I tried to hold back my feelings since I thought he liked Teresa. Teresa seemed like a nice girl and she did get here first. It wouldn't be right of me to have feelings for someone she could possibly have them for as well.

   (Newt's POV)

   I had never laughed so much with anyone before. She was special. She was so funny, pretty, and perfect.. She seemed like one of the girls that guys would die for attention from.

   (Y/N's POV)

   Me and Newt had spent almost the whole day together. He was really nice, caring, and amazing. We had surely connected over the day. I really I could keep myself together enough to make sure we could be friends.

   Anyways, now it was bonfire time.
