I woke up with a headache today. I was still laying in my bed when I looked at the clock.
10:35
Normally, I would be eating breakfast.
I should just do that.
I don't like breaking my routines.
I got up from under the covers and stretched my arms. I stood up and walked to the window that was next to the front door. I carefully opened the curtain so I could sneak a peek, and I saw all four of them on the front porch, laughing.
I opened the curtain a little bit more so I could see if there was a bowl on the table.
There wasn't.
Not at my place anyway.
Good.
I sighed and let go of the curtain.
As much as this hurts, I have to.
I walked to the kitchen and tapped my fingers on the counter. Let's see if I have any food left in here.
I opened the fridge and saw a carton of yoghurt. I grabbed it and closed the fridge again. I walked back to the counter and grabbed a banana with my other hand. I placed the yoghurt down on the counter and grabbed a knife.
I cut the top of the banana and started peeling.
"Shit."
Forgot a bowl.
I walked to a cabinet and opened it. I grabbed a white ceramic bowl and put it on the counter.
I grabbed the banana again and started cutting it up.
"Jules!" someone happily said.
I cut my own finger from shock.
"OW fuck." I gasped, looking at the blood coming out of my wound. I looked behind me to see Harry walking towards me.
"I'm alright." I quickly said.
He stood next to me and carefully grabbed my hand. He studied it and walked me to the sink.
"You are so clumsy." He said with a chuckle.
"It was just. I. You. Uhm yeah." I spoke quietly.
You just scared me, that's it.
He turned the tap on and held my finger under the water. I winced from the contact.
"Why didn't you let us make it?" he asked, referring to the breakfast.
"Oh. I was here so. I thought why not make it myself."
"You okay?" He asked, looking me in my eyes.
"Yeah, yeah why?" I forcedly smiled.
"No reason." He said.
He's not really helping with my problem.
"Here, I'll make this, and you go sit at the table. Yeah?"
"Mhm." I kindly smiled as I turned away.
"Wait do you need a band aid?" he asked, and I turned around to look at him
I scrunched my nose with a disgusted expression.
