The doorbell rang, and a loud buzzing noise was ringing in my ears.

I rubbed my eyes and walked over to the big brown door.

As soon as I opened the door, I had to squeeze my eyes to see something because the bright sun was shining right into my eyes.

"Anna?" I said with big eyes and a shocked expression. Goosebumps ran over my skin, but mixed with that, was some kind of warmth from the sun.

This woman. She looks so much like me. But she isn't me. because she's not here. Well right now she is. What is she doing here?

Anna opened her arms with a warm smile. I didn't hesitate to let her wrap her arms around me. I shut my eyes and took a deep breath. This warm feeling. I don't ever want it to go away.

"You're finally back?" I said as my eyes started to water. Fuck I've waited so long for this.

I rubbed her back, but she wasn't answering me. I didn't really mind; I was just enjoying this moment.

Suddenly the sun disappeared behind a cloud and the world became dark. Immediately it started raining and we were soaked within seconds.

"You should come inside." I said to her with a chuckle and a muffled voice because the hug was squeezing my head. "I'll get my bags and we'll go." I spoke.

I let go of Anna and took her hand. I turned around to walk back in the house, but Anna wasn't budging. I turned to look at her, but she wasn't there anymore. Instead of Anna, Monique was standing in the doorway.

"Mom? Where is Anna?" I asked in confusion. My brows furrowed together

"Don't you see? She left. You know that." Monique answered with no expression. A shiver ran up my spine as soon as the words left her mouth.

"What do you mean she left? She would never do that." I spoke. Tears were streaming down my face as I shook my head in denial.

"Julia we've talked about this." Monique replied.

"No. No no. she... she wouldn't do that, ok?" I was still in denial. But we both knew she would.

Everything was cold now. My clothes were soaked and that wasn't helping. A chilly wind was brushing against my skin and that wasn't helping either.

I wanted to scream. Cry. But the thing I wanted most, was her. I just miss her. Things were never the same after she left.

---

With a bolt, I suddenly woke up and my lashes fluttered. I looked around, and I realised I was in the cabin again.

Stupid nightmare.

It was already light outside. I looked at the clock on my nightstand and it said 09:57.

I took a deep breath and stretched my arms out.

I stepped out of bed and walked to Yoda's food bowl. He followed me, of course, and waited for me to give him his food. I pet him on his head and walked to the sink to get a glass of water.

---

Everything else I did was still a bit hazy from my nightmare, but right now, we're playing a game. Well, they called it a game. For the record, I have no idea how we ended up here.

"Okay starting off strong, favourite colour?" Liam asked with a big grin.

They ask questions, and I answer. I also answer for the person who asks the question, and they say if I'm correct.
