She patted my head suddenly. "Yo watch the hair. I'm not a dog-" I started but she did it again, smirking evilly. 

"Good doggy." she said chuckling. 

"I swear to go-" She cut me off. 

"Dogs go 'woof' " she said. 

I stared at her. She stared back laughing.  she pulled away her hand. "Ok I'm done Dave." (y/n) said laughing. 

I stole the unopened apple juice she had on her tray. she glared at me. 

"Hey!" she said trying to grab it, But, I opened it and drank it. 

"Jerk!" she scoffed at me. I laughed. 

"EMOTIONSSS!" John exclaimed. 

"Oh woo hoo, look I smile." I said and gave a fake smile.

(y/n) Then poked my side, turning the fake smile into a real one. "S-stop." I said laughing. I took a hand and covered my mouth.

"FIneee." she said pulling her hand away.

I Laughed again softly.

I cleared my throat and the poker faced again. They where all staring at me. 

"What?" I asked feeling their  stares.

"We just dont see you smile that much--" Rose started, but jade interrupted.  "Its adorable!" 

I sighed, and heard (y/n) chuckle. "You know they are right dave? you should really lighten up." she said, 

"Hold on, let me get a flash light to shine on my face. maybe then I can be bright enough." I said sarcastically. 

"Ok we'll all be waiting." (y/n) said. 

I sighed. she is the only one out of the group who always gave me smart ass responses. 

I didn't plan to eat, like usual.  the food here tasted terrible anyways.

The best part of my shades where that I could look at someone, and they wouldn't know.

so I glanced at (y/n). she was very pretty- what?

nope. you read nothing.

"So-- Read any good books lately strider?" (y/n) asked. 

"I don't read books." I responded, which was a lie.

"Yes you do." she responded.

"No, I don't." I responded again.

"Dave e. Strider, you are such a liar." she said smirking. 

"Dave you read books?"  john asked. "Like-- you read? as on you enjoy reading?
 he asked.

"No I don't I-" I got cut off, again.

"Yeah he does, I caught him at the park underneath a oak reading a book." (y/n) said.

I didn't respond.

rose laughed. "Oh so Dave you enjoy the arts of literature?" Rose asked.

"No." I said bluntly.

"Yessss~" (y/n) said.

she is the only one who can agitate me. I swear.

She looked at me and laughed. 

"Your secrets out dave~" She said sticking her tongue out at me.

"Fine, I read books. Happy?" I admitted. 

"What books Dave?" she asked. 

I didn't answer.

"What books?~" she asked.

" Divergent... and... The hunger games...survival books." I muttered.  

she laughed. "We all knew you where secretly a big nerd Dave." she said.
