SKYE'S POV

~BOBBY'S HOUSE – NIGHT~

I drink from my beer as Ellen drains the fifth shot before putting it back upside-down. "All right, big boy." She says. "Well." Castile says as he takes down all five shots. "I think I'm starting to feel something." Cas says as I grin. "It's gotta be a trap, right?" Sam says bursting the mood. "Sam Winchester, having trust issues with a demon. Well, better late than never." Jo says. "Thank you again for your continued support." Sam rolls his eyes.

"You're welcome." She chuckles. "You know, trap or no trap, we got a snowball's chance, we gotta take it, right?" I ask. "Yeah, I suppose." Dean says. "Besides, I'm not sure it is a trap. Check it out. I mean, Carthage is lit up like a Christmas tree with Revelation omens. And look at this." I say as I hand Dean and Sam papers.

"There's been six missing persons reported, in town, since Sunday. I think the devil's there." I say. "Okay." Sam says. "Look, when you think about it...Sam should stay." I say. "Hell no." Sam says. "She's right. We go against Satan and screws the pooch we've lost a game piece. That we can take. But if you're there, then we are handing the devil's vessel right over to him. That's not smart." Dean says.

"Since when have we ever done anything smart?" Sam scoffs. "We're serious." Skye says. "So am I. Haven't we learned a damn thing? If we're gonna do this, we're gonna do it together." Sam says. "Okay. But it's a stupid fucking idea." Dean caves and I stand up and head over to the kitchen to grab another beer.

"Hey." Dean says from behind me. "Hey." I say as I close the fridge door and open my beer. "So. Dangerous mission tomorrow. Guess it's time to eat, drink, and you know, make merry." He chuckles. "Are you giving me the last-night-on-earth speech?" I scoff as I a sip. "What? No." He says.

"If I was, would, uh, would that work?" He asks.

I bite my lip and lean in for a kiss but stop just before our lips touch. "No. Sweetheart, if this is our last night on earth, then I'm going to spend it with a little thing I call self-respect." I whisper before I walk away smirking to myself.

Sorry Dean but we've been down that road before and I'm not going down it again...not even if I badly...so badly want to.

"Everybody get in here! It's time for the lineu. Usual suspects in the corner!" Bobby yells from the living room.

"Oh come on, Bobby. Nobody wants their picture taken." Ellen says as I walk into the living room with Dean right behind me. "Hear, hear." Sam chuckles. "Shut up. You're drinking my beer." Bobby says as he fiddles with his camera on the tripod before rolling his wheelchair over to us, facing the camera. "Anyway I'm gonna need something to remember your sorry asses by." He says as we all get in position for the picture, everyone smiling. "Ha! Always good to have an optimist around." Ellen laughs. "Bobby's right. Tomorrow we hunt the devil. This is our last night on earth." Castiel says making all our smiles disappear as the camera flashes.
