"Tell you one thing, with an attitude like that, you would have fit right in around here."

DEAN'S POV

~BOBBY'S POV~

"Yeah, no, this is good. Really. You know, eight months of turned pages and screwed pooches but tonight, tonight's when the magic happens." Skye says very pissed off. "You ain't helpin." I say to her. "Yeah, well, why don't you let me get out of your hair, then?" She asks, glaring at me.

"What the hell happened to you?" Bobby asks her. "Reality happened. Nuclear's the only option we have left. Michael can ice the devil, save a boatload of people." She says. "But not all of them. We gotta think of something else." I tell her. "Yeah, well, that's easy for you to say. But if Lucifer burns this mother down, and I coulda done something about it, guess what? That's on me!" She yells at us.

"You can't give up, Skye." Bobby begs. "You're not my father. And you ain't in my shoes." She growls. Skye has changed...she's always looked at Bobby as a father figure and for him, she's like a daughter to him...

Bobby pulls out a gun out of his desk and sets it on the table. He takes a bullet out of his pocket and looks at it. I look up at him. "What are you doing?" I ask him. "That's the round that I mean to put through my skull." He says and my eyes widen.

"Every morning, I look at it, I think...Maybe today's the day I flip the lights out. But I don't do it. I never do it. You know why? Because I promised you, I wouldn't give up!" He yells at Skye. She goes to speak but I notice Cas grasping his head, hunching over in pain. "Cas, you okay?" I ask him. "No." He groans. "What's wrong?" I ask.

"Something's happening." He says. "Where?" I ask but he disappears before giving us any explanation as to what's happening. "I'm gonna get a beer, do you mind?" Skye asks, still annoyed with me for bringing her to Bobby's and getting him involved. I let out a sigh and move out of the way of the fridge.

She slams the fridge door closed as she opens her beer, when Cas appears with a man's body in his arms. "Help." He says as he walks into the study and lays the body on the cot. "Who is it?" Skye asks as her and I walk in. "That's our brother." Sam says.

"Wait a minute. Your brother? Adam?" Bobby asks. "Cas, what the hell?" I ask him. Why the hell did he bring Adam here? He is just a kid who is the one Winchester that got a lucky at a normal life.

"Angels." He says. "Angels? Why?" Skye asks. "I know one thing for sure. We need to hide him now." He says urgently as he puts a hand to Adam's chest. Must be putting a enochian symbol on his ribs like he did to the rest of us.

"Where am I?" The kid says tiredly as he sits up. "It's okay. Just relax, you're safe." Skye says to him. "Who the hell are you?" He asks as he quickly gets up from the cot and backs away from us. "You're going to find this a little...a lot crazy, but we're actually your brothers." I break to him.

"It's the truth. John Winchester was our father, too." Sam says to him. "Yeah, and you two must be Dean and Sam. I know who you are." He spits. "How?" I ask him. "They warned me about you." He says. "Who did?" Skye asks. "The angels. Now where the hell is Zachariah?" He asks, what how the hell does he know about Zachariah?

"So why don't you just tell us everything? Start from the beginning." Skye says to him. "Well, I was dead and in heaven. Except it...it uh, kinda looked like my prom and I was making out with this girl, her name was Kristin McGee." He smiles to himself as he takes a seat back on the cot.

Wait? Heaven? When the hell did that happen?

"Well, these...these angels, they popped out of nowhere, and they tell me that...I'm chosen." He says. "For what?" I ask him. "To save the world." He says. "How you gonna do that?" Bobby asks him. "Oh, me and some archangel are going to kill the devil." Adam says. "What archangel?" Skye asks.

"Michael. I'm his uh, sword or vessel or something, I don't know." He shrugs. "Well, that's insane." Skye laughs. "Not necessarily." Cas says. "How do you mean?" I ask looking at Cas. "Maybe they're moving on from Skye." He says. "Well that doesn't make sense." She scoffs. "It's possible." He says to her.

"Well you gotta be kidding me." She says, fed up. "Why would they do this?" Sam asks. "Maybe they're desperate. Maybe they wrongly assumed Dean would be brave enough to withstand them." He says. "Alright, you know what? Eat me, Cas." She spits at him.

"Look, no way. After everything that's happened? All that shit about destiny? Suddenly the angels have a Plan B? Does that smell right to anybody?" I say, not happy about any of this. "You know this has been a really moving family reunion, but, uh, I got a thing." Adam says, getting up. "Whoa, no. Sit down. Just listen, okay? Please." I say to him.

"It's unbelievable." Adam says as he sits back down. "Now, Adam...the angels are lying to you. They're full of shit." I say to him. "Yeah, I don't think so." He laughs. "Really. Why not?" I ask him, crossing my arms. "Um, 'cause they're angels." He says in a duh tone.

"They tell you they were gonna roast half the planet?" I ask him. "They said the fight might get pretty ugly, but it is the devil, right? So, we got to stop him." He says. "Yeah, but there's another way." Sam says. "Great. What is it?" He asks, smiling. "We're working on the power of love." Skye says sarcastically, making me glare at her. "Not helping at all here." I say to her.

"How's that going?" Adam chuckles. "Mmm. Not good." She laughs. "Skye. Stop it." I warn her. "Look, Adam...you don't know us, I know. But I'm begging you. Please, just trust us. Give us some time." I plead with him, hoping he will listen.

"Give me one good reason." He says. "Because we're blood." I say. "You've got no right to say that to me." He glares. 'You're still John's boy." Bobby intervenes. "No, John Winchester was some guy who took me to a baseball game once a year. I don't have a dad. So, we may be blood, but we are not family. My mom is my family. And if I do my job, I get to see her again. So, no offense, but she's the one I give a rat's ass about, not any of you." Adam scoffs.

"Fair enough. But if you have one good memory of dad, just one, then you'll give us a little more time. Please." Sam asks of him. "You know, you pitch this whole dewy-eyed bromance thing, but the truth is, I'm on lockdown, aren't I?" Adam asks, glaring at us.

"Adam, you may not believe it, but dad was trying to protect you. Keeping you from all of this." I say to him. "Yeah well, I guess the monster that ate me didn't get the memo." Adam sighs, looking down at his feet.

"You remember that?" Sam asks him and I look between the two of them. "Oh yeah." He says, not looking up. "Still, trust me. The one thing worse than seeing dad once a year was seeing him all year." Sam chuckles.

"Do you know how full of shit you are?" Adam asks, looking over at Sam. "What?" Sam asks, taken back. "Really. You see, it was me and it was my mom. That's it. She worked the graveyard shift at the hospital. I cooked my own dinners. I put myself to bed. So you can say whatever you want about our dad, but the truth is, I would have taken anything. Alright?" Adam sniffles.

"Look, if we had known we had a brother" "Well you didn't so..." Adam cuts me and trails off while not meeting my gaze, just going back to looking at the floor. "We would have found you." I say to him but he just scoffs and shakes his head. "Look, I can't change the past. I wish I could. But from here on out..." "What? We gonna hop in the family trickster? Pop on down to Wally World?" Adam scoffs as he had cut Sam off.

"Tell you one thing, with an attitude like that, you would have fit right in around here." Skye says to him before heading down to the basement and I follow after her.
