On the run

(Ava's pov)

We're outside a mall walking at a good pace "the first rule about being on the run .is don't run, walk." Natasha says "if I run in these shoes there gonna fall off." Steve replies. I laugh then say "second rule is don't look like your on the run. So stop looking around like you're expecting us to be followed Steve." I say.

We then reach an Apple Store and the three of us stand around one of the laptops. Natasha is trying to hack the code to the flash drive. "The drive has a level six homing program. So as soon as we boot up shield will know exactly where we are." she says "how much time do we have?" Steve asks. "About nine minutes from.... now." she says as she plugs in the flash drive.

"Fury was right about that ship, somebody is trying to hide something." she informs us. "This drive is protected by some sort of AI. It keeps rewriting itself to counter my commands." She says. "Let me try." I say pushing her aside. within a half a minute I'm in, and just in time. We are interrupted by one of the workers in the store. Natasha turned around probably noticing the man, and wanting to see if I could mislead him. "can I help you guys with anything?" He asks "oh! no, my fiancé was just helping me with some honey moon destinations." I say hugging Steve's arm. "Right, we're getting married." he says trying to be convincing.

"Where you thinking of going?" The man asks. Steve looks over at the laptop screen and says "New Jersey." "oh........" The man stares at Steve as though he recognized him. "I have the exact same pair of glasses." the man says. Steve becomes relieved " what a coincidence huh?" I say. " Right... if you guys need anything, I've been Aaron." he says then leaves. we turn around as Natasha is finishing the hack. "You said nine minutes." Steve says getting worried.

"Shhh, relax...... got it." she says, Steve then looks at the computer screen that's displaying a man. "You know him?" Natasha and I ask "I used to." he replies then removes the flash drive from the computer and we leave the store.

We maneuver through the mall when we reach an escalator. As we're going down, shield agents are coming up. "Kiss me." Natasha tells Steve "what?" He asks "public display of affection makes people uncomfortable." I say knowing what she has planed, but not liking it. "Yes it does." he replies. We're running out of time so Natasha forces him to kiss her.

( Steve's pov)

"Public displays of affection make people uncomfortable." Ava says "yes it does." I answer. Natasha then forces the kiss. Natasha isn't the one I wanted to kiss. I wanted it to be Ava, but she's not the Ava I thought I knew.
