To Love an Avenger ( captain America/ Steve Rogers fanfic )

Supposed to be dead

(Ava's pov)

Soon after we clear out the rest of the men. Sam grabs his pack and helps me up. "What happened?" He asks. " ill explain later. We need to go help the other two." I say. He nods and I grab on to him and we fly off.

(Steve's pov)

I knock the mask of the winter soldier to reveal his face. When he turns around I'm confused. "Bucky?" I say "who the hell is Bucky?" He asks. A split second later sam flys over with Ava hanging on to him. Ava kicks bucky in the face sending him flying backwards. When they land Sam puts Ava on the ground. Bucky looks to me in confusion and aims a gun at me when Natasha shoots a granade at him from behind me.

When the smoke clears he's gone. "Steve was that Bucky?" Ava asks but I'm too shocked to answer.

(Ava's pov)

Steve doesn't answer looking to shocked to process what just happened.  Before we know it we're taken into custody by hydra.

-in truck-

" it was him... He looked right at me. And he didn't even know me." Steve says.  "How is that even possible? he was alive seventy years ago." Same says "so was Steve and here he is." I say. "His whole unit was captured. Zolo experimented on him. Whatever he did helped Bucky survive the fall." Steve say finally looking at all of us. "They must have found him." He continues.

"None of that's your fault Steve." Natasha and I say. "Even when I had nothing I had Bucky." Steve says. It's silent for a moment then Sam says " these two need a doctor. If we don't put pressure on their wounds they're gonna bleed out." As he notices our injuries getting worse. One of the guards just tried to threaten him with an electric wand/ tazzer then uses it on the other guard and knocks him out.

"That thing was squeezing my brain." Hill says as she takes of the helmet. "I smile in amusement. She looks to Sam and says " who's this guy?".

-arrival at secret base-

When we arrive at this secret base Steve helps Natasha out of the car first then Caries me since I can't walk on my leg. "GSW they've both lost about a pint." Hill says " maybe two." Sam adds. "Let me see I'll take them." The doctor says. "They're gonna want to see him first." Hill says. Natasha and I look to each other then to hill in confusion.

We reach a doorway and hill pulls back the plastic to reveal nick lying in a hospital bed hooked up to machines. "About damn time." Nick says as he sees us.

I know the last chapter was a bit short so I wrote a second one since I haven't updated in a few months.
