In danger

(Ava's pov)

When I finally catch up to them I watch the car get hit by a humV and roll. "Please have gotten out..." I say to myself. I get as close as I can and hop out of the car. I see Sam get to sad of a car door and Steve and Natasha slide for a bit longer before stoping and getting up.

I run over to Sam to see if he's ok. "Sam. Sam are you alright?" I ask as he starts to come to. "Yea." He answers in pain. I look up and the winter soldier pulls out a Granade launcher. Shit. I get up and run to try and stop him but I'm to late. He launches a granade. Steve blocks it with his shield and sends him flying through a bus windshield in the traffic below.

Sam, Natasha, and I run for cover as people start shooting at us. Same and I don't have guns but Natasha makes an effort to shoot back. When the winter soldier launches another granade. I follow Natasha over the dividers to dodge the explosion. They continue to shoot and another granade is launched at us. It explodes in front of a car and sends us over the edge of the over pass.

Natasha grabs onto me and used a device to suspend us from above to keep is from serious injury. We land. She throws me a gun and says " you go that way I'm going this way!" I nod and we both run off.

Before I know it the winter soldier spots me and shoots. I fall to the ground In pain. Luckily he only hit me in my calf. I turn around and shoot at him, As does Natasha. She gets a hit and he ducks for cover behind the divider. After a few seconds he starts shooting at Natasha. While he is distracted I focus on trying to get myself to cover.

Once I finally find cover I hear rapid gun fire and bullets hitting metal. I must be close to Steve. I peak my head around the corner of the car I'm behind and sure as shit there's Steve being shot at. He takes out one of the guys and I spot Sam shooting at the other and I join in. Steve sees us and Sam and I say in unison " go! We got this!" And he goes after the winter soldier.
