"Professor Jin II Sung?" Bahati asked, confused as that is her current teacher's name. He was a high school teacher too?
Ji Na nodded her head.
"Slim, tall, short black hair, glasses." She tried to describe him.
"Yes."
Hyung was just as shocked as Bahati was.
Then Bahati thought about earlier today. He seemed weak and frail all of a sudden. If an evil spirit possessed you long enough, they will start feeding off your life energy, making you weak just like he was.
"Shit." She smacked her head.
"What?" Hyung asked.
Ji Na was also confused.
"Do you know him?" She asked Bahati, making her nod her head.
"He's my college professor." She said before looking at Hyung. "Professor looked pale and sickly earlier today when he was handing out our exams, right? You noticed that too?"
Hyung thought about it. "You're right. He did seem weakly all of sudden. Why was that?" He asked her.
"When evil spirits possess a living host for long periods of time (usually consensual), the spirit starts feeding off the host's life force, making them weak and frail, while they grow and get stronger." Bahati explained.
"You mean to tell me that the professor allowed an evil spirit to possess him and now it's feeding off his soul?" Hyung asked.
"Yes", Bahati said.
"I knew I saw something earlier." Jae cut in.
Both Bahati and Hyung turned towards Jae and his voice.
"What do you mean?" Bahati asked him.
"Earlier today, while in your class, I got an odd feeling that someone was watching me, but you guys were preoccupied with your tests, so I shrugged it off, but when the class ended, I turned towards him and it seemed like he was looking right at me and I thought I saw a strange ominous shadow lingering behind him."
"Shit, he can see you now?" Hyung asked.
"It's possible that he was able to see you this whole time. He was just good and hiding it. If a live human is possessed, they also gain the ability to see other spirits, along with also gaining supernatural abilities." Bahati explained.
"He has something to do with this whole thing. I just know it." Ji Na said. "Is it possible for spirits to control other spirits?" She asked.
Bahati pondered for bit, thinking. She wasn't exactly certain because she never encountered such a thing before.
"It's a possibility. I'm not certain. If my hunch is correct and there's a evil spirit that has been feeding off of Professor's soul, it's possible that he could gain extra abilities from that." Bahati thought at loud.
"If that's what he is doing, what could he use that for?" Hyung asked.
"I honestly do not know." Bahati scratched her head. "This is all new to me. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Professor being possessed by an evil spirit."
The professor was always so sweet and kind to her, more than any normal teacher. Bahati could confide in him. He comforted her. It hurts her to believe that all of that was facade.
"Yeah it feels......weird." Hyung said. "If he can see Jae, what are we gonna do about him? The professor is t going to do anything with a reaper wandering around." He pointed out.
"You're correct. First I have to prove that he was the one that possessed those high school girls. As for Jae, you and Hyung fused together successfully. If you do that again, he won't be able to see or sense you anymore. Thus, lowering his guard." Bahati said.
"That's quick thinking." Hyung told her.
"She's good at that." Jae told her, thinking about when they "first" met.
Bahati chuckled, knowing what Jae was talking about.
"I'll help." Ji Na said, wanting to get involved.
"Of course. I need you to tell me what mall those girls usually shop at or give me hints on where girls your age shop at." Bahati smiled at Ji Na.
Ji Na smiled and nodded.
