Bahati put in an anonymous tip for the dead body they found, before the group decided to split. They didn't want the police asking them questions and they didn't find it necessary trying to come up with a logical excuse as to why they were at the scene of crime without actually knowing the victim.
The group made their way back to the park they were at before. Bahati laid down in the bench, while Hyung laid down in the grass. Jae and Do Hyun just stood around the other two.
"You said you were stalking him, so you know of any other places this spirit might be?" Bahati asked Do Hyun?
"No, since he killed this person he was possessing. He is probably possessing another person, so he could be anywhere being anyone". He told her.
"I never knew finding a spirit can be this damn hard". Bahati groaned.
Jae then thought of an idea.
"Wait here", he told Bahati, before poofing away.
"Jae?" Bahati asked looking around. It was weird not having him by her side. She felt empty.
"What happened to Jae?" Hyung asked.
"I don't know. He disappeared". Bahati answered him.
Jae poofed back to the crime scene. It was easier for him to get what he wanted without suspicion because nobody can see him.
He walked back over to where they found the deceased and the evil energy residue left from the evil spirit that possessed him.
Jae took out our a chained pendant he wore around his neck. He never thought of using this because he didn't find it necessary to hunt down evil spirits, but this would finally become useful.
He opened the pendant and allowed it to collect the evil energy surrounding where the body was. It was still present in the same spot. It sucked it up, allowing Jae to close it. The front of the pendant lit up with the spirit's name.
"Perfect", Jae whispered before poofing back to the group.
"Where did you go?" Bahati asked, walking over to Jae right as he poofed back to them.
Jae looked at Bahati oddly before answering her. "I figured out a way to track down this spirit".
It was Bahati's turn to look at him weirdly. "How?" She asked, puzzled.
Jae held out the pendant now with the spirit's name on it. "This pendant collects the energy (evil, negative or positive), of spirits, making it easier to track them down and find them wherever they are and whoever they are residing in".
Hyung looked at Jae with a big grin on his face. "Wow, that's amazing!" He said walking over to him.
"That is amazing! Thank you!" Bahati said and out of habit, embraced Jae.
Everybody was shocked to see that she was actually able to hug him. Jae tensed up a bit, not being used to the touch of a living person, before slowly easing into her embrace.
Jae forgot how warm and nice it felt to be embraced by living person. He could hear her heart beating, steadily and rhythmically.
Bahati then realized what was happening and she let go and stared at him. "How am I able to hug you?" She asked him.
Jae shrugged his shoulders.
"I know it all depends on who the ghost is interacting with and if the ghost wants to be touched". Do Hyun said. "We can't really control it but only subconsciously". "I guess Jae, subconsciously, didn't mind being held by you". Do Hyun said, chuckling, making Hyung chuckle as well.
