Every day was the same for you, wake up at 7, head downstairs for some breakfast, get ready for the day, and either stay in your family's library and read all day or do random chores and errands, get dinner, and get ready for bed. Nothing ever changed, it was always those two options or both.

Today you went to go get more books for your family's library. You were surprised you finished all the books in there, you knew one day you would but not this fast. Who knew reading after school, weekends and during summer break for 10 years straight, caused you to finish thousands, maybe millions of books. Your addict was filled to the brim with books and so was your room. You decided to use the guest room as your own library. You guys never had visitors anyways, you'd always go out if state to see your distant family for holidays. Rather your parents did. They started to forget to take you once you turned 5.

You set off on your journey at noon, spending the morning trying to write down all the books you already owned. You didn't want to spend "your" money on books you already had, but after millions of books you tend to forget which ones you've read and haven't. You gave up soon after you started, realizing you had way too many books. Rather focusing on what books you wanted instead of window shopping.

Once you made it to the rather small book store you began your search.

It took you maybe 3 hours or so. You would stop by each section grabbing books you thought seemed interesting and begin to read a few pages here and there. You didn't want to buy anything that wasn't on the list but it was a force of habit.

As you walked home you watched the colors of the sky change. Going from dark blue at the top to pastel yellow near the horizon. You wonder what it'd be like to watch the sunset with someone. You've read about it a plethora of times, whether it be with friends or a lover it always sounded nice.

The memorizing sky made you forget you were on the road. Damn smacked in the middle. This could only turn out one way.

Now there you were on the windshield of someone's car. Your...well everything hurt, your eyes closing and opening, each time slower and slower. The crazy driver turned on their windshield wipers, hitting you repeatedly. You tried to get a look at who was the maniac driving the car. But the air resistance just caused you to stick to the windshield like a bug.

After bumps and lots of yelling, from both you and the driver. The car came to an abrupt stop, flinging you forward and off the windshield. You felt your back hit something making you moan out in pain.

"This is her?" you heard someone say, their voice was kinda weird but maybe that was the blood lost talking.

Your eyelids felt heavy, all the pain was starting to fade away to some sort of numbness. You could barely move a muscle. You moved your knees to your chest. In doing so you hit something you could only assume was a rock or one of your books. You wrapped your arms around your legs in the fetal position preparing for whatever they were gonna do with you.

You heard an "mhm" coming from in front of you. You could see two black blobs coming closer and closer to your face. "Why did I have to bring her to you? Couldn't you just talk to her there?" you couldn't really make out the words. All you could really tell was it was a higher-pitched voice and it was getting closer to you.

"Yeah but that's no fun, " that voice again. It came from behind you "and anyways, " This voice you could hear much clearer. You took one long blink and once you opened your eyes again everything was black and white. Was this heaven? Would you meet your mom again? Quite the opposite...

"Can I go now?" the more feminine voice asked, sounding quite annoyed.

"God you're no fun, " that voice "I show you this place and you wanna leave it?"
