You quickly shook that thought away hoping Bill wasn't listed in. You figured he wasn't snooping around in your thoughts mainly because he didn't start teasing you about it.
On the contrary, he was listed in, you can't blame him thats his job, being nosey. He was gonna pick on you, for the cheesy thoughts and for how much care you gave that bear. Something stopped him though, he didn't really know why. He quickly told himself it was because wanted to see your stuffed animals fight with pens and brutally stab each other.
He was never really lonely, bored sure, lonely? Not so much.
Your talking about someone who was practically the king of the nightmare realm. He would have friends whether it was out of fear, revenge, or to use to their own gain, he was never lonely one way or another.
It was good, it felt good, he could party with whoever he wanted whenever he wanted and when he wanted to be alone he could.
His family was completely out if the picture... It was his fault of course. Sometimes you get bored and just decided to burn your whole dimension down, committing a genocided killing your family in the process. Boredom will do crazy things to you man.
'Unlike book worm, my story is actually an impressive one,' he thought, slowing his actions down as he began to sink further into thought, 'I'm the main character and untimely the hero.' You two were the complete opposite in his eye. Little did you both know you two were far more alike than one could even imagine.
Bill began thinking about the little story plan thing you had made in your head, 'A lonely protagonist,' he scoffed at that thought. 'Not all protagonists are lonely, actually, the best protagonists aren't lonely,' he rolled his eye easily disproving you. 'Meets a new friend who helps them become more outgoing and they finally know the meaning of friendship' Bill had to think about this one a bit more, 'I was born outgoing of course. And meaning if friendship? What in the rainbow ponies is this?' he concluded.
' In the end they end up falling in love' Bill thought about this one long and hard. He was so deep in thought he didn't notice you head off for school. 'falling in love' Bill thought to himself once again. He remembers reading about love in the books you had bought, most of them were romance books so he quickly became familiar with love. A few of them were enemies to lovers or something going the lines, or best friend to lovers, a few thriller stories and fiction stories and that's all he read in the span of 20 ish minutes, while you were eating.
"Love, " he repeated out loud, finally putting down your stuffed animals and sitting alone side them. Sure he didn't feel most human emotions, sympathy, or kindness unless it was to benefit him in some sort of way, but he could still feel most of them. Happiness, anger, boredom of course, and sadness well...
He thought he could, he'd assume so because he could feel happiness and anger the next one in that list would be sadness. However, he's never really felt sad before. For hell's sake, he killed his family because he was bored and right after that was bored once more. Sure he would think about his boring family here and there but regret never once came across his mind. 'If I ever get a family we for sure aren't gonna be as boring as them,' he randomly thought.
'Wait,' he finally realized what just came to his head, 'A family?' the thought never came across his mind. His main goal, was to make the proficiency true not have some stupid family. "for all I know families are useless, boring and always get in your way. The only good thing about them is when you kill them it cures your boredom for 3-5 minutes, " he ranted crossing his arms in frustration, "You get me right?" he looked over to where you used to be, now seeing you gone.
Panic began coursing through his veins. 'That hag' the panic quickly turned into anger. With a snap of his fingers, he was back, visiting them once more.
"What did you do." he asked but it sounded more of a demand.
"What?"
"Don't you what me, " Bill said, everything turned into shades of black and white once more, "What. Did. You. Do."
"Nothing?"
Bill began growing double in size, turning red.
"You're in my playing field now, " he said in a cocky tone, "I suggest you confess to what you did." this time Bill didn't hear anything, which only fueled his anger, he was about to snap, literally snap his fingers to snap the other person's neck. That was until he heard a pen hit the table, it wasn't like someone dropped it, more like someone setting it down after writing an important document.
Suddenly Bill went back to his yellow, rather small triangle form and everything was back in color. "You're in my playing field, " the person let out a chuckle that lasted only for a few minutes, "No matter where you are, " they said voice getting deeper and sounding much more upset, Bill felt a feeling began to rise in him. His eye widened and he couldn't help but play with his bow tie. "Now get out" and with that, the same gust of wind blew him right out.
Bill couldn't move, he lost his breath. It's not like he ever needed it in the first place. Happiness, anger, and most importantly fear.
He didn't move, he couldn't... "How" was the only thing he could say. "How? How? How?" he began chanting over and over again like a child.
He was having a hard time, to say the least. It took him a few hours to regain his grip on reality. He quickly made his way back to your house and began studying the book. He managed to find a small blue V last light in the back of one if your pens. The constant back and forth of grabbing the light and scribbling some random notes began to irritate the hell out of him. He finally caved much to his dismay going into the dreamscape.
The black and white only reminded him of the earlier events today. Their voice echoed throughout Bill's head over and over again. Taunting him and torturing the demon.
Throughout the thinking, he managed to summon a bigger light. However, the taunting began to get worse and worse. It was his job to go into other people's minds, not the other way around.
After what seems like an eternity Bill couldn't take it anymore. He slammed shut the book looking up at the wall that was facing your desk. He's always one step ahead of everyone and if that didn't work he'd have 5 other plans ready for the taking, but them? They were always 5 steps ahead of Bill.
He looked down at the book seeing that his hand was in the middle of the hand on the book. Not really thinking straight he opened the book flipping through all the pages, reading every word even the ones that were overlapped with invisible ink, despite to find something. Once he reached the end he saw on two blank pages, rather he saw two pages only filled with white ink. Without the light, it would be completely hidden.
He finally calmed down laughing at his little breakdown. He began reading the secret page, 'To my great friend Bill Cipher', this instantly made Bill feel much better, it also mandated to make his ego even bigger if that was even possible. He finished reading it, mood-changing drastically. Essentially it was an easy recipe to a new body written with exact measurements and steps. Turns out the back was meant for Bill once Ford completed everything, he was still under the impression that Bill was trying to help, sadly he was wrong very wrong. 'Just like old times sixer, helping me with everything'
Bill began writing down everything he'd need where it find it and how much he would need back in your realm. Just as he was about done you came in dropping your bag on the floor near your desk, you greeted him as you made your way into the restroom washing your hands. Once you finished you went back out to see what Bill was doing. To your surprise, you saw the book and right beside it a piece of paper with writing on it.
He looked over at you, you could feel his invisible smile as you looked at the sight in shock. You didn't really think Bill knew what he needed. For the most part, you saw him always messing with your things.
"Impressed (y/n)?"
