As you both continued to laugh, you feel more of your wounds open. Then you began to feel something warm slowly trickle down your back. Your laughter quickly turned into groans and whimpers.

Once Bill heard he began laughing even harder, 'She hurt herself laughing' he thought completely forgetting today's past events.

You went under your shirt and began to feel around on your back, once you felt something warm and kinda sticky you took your hand out to see what it was. Like you expected it was blood. You sighed in annoyance still hearing Bill's laughs. You grabbed the book with your clean hand and made your way back into your room.

After a few seconds, Bill noticed you were no longer there on the couch. He rolled his eyes and just phased through the wall to see you on your bed. Your back was facing him so he got a clear look at your wounds. He almost let out a hiss in anger looking back at it, remembering all the past events.

He watched as you slowly put on the bandages, he rolled his eyes leaning on the back of the wall, "want some help?"

"I thought you'd never ask," You said not pausing to look back at him, "You were the one who caused this."

"Not my fault your hair makes good make-shift wigs and mustaches," he defended himself putting his hands up in the air. You didn't say anything and continued to wrap the gauze around your chest. "Here let me help," you heard Bill say, it felt weird for him to offer you help without anything in return. You felt a gush of wind come from behind you, hitting your back. You looked over your shoulder to see a side of a yellow triangle. You silently debated to yourself wondering if you should take his help. "Come on kid," he said getting quite impatient, "What's the worse I can do?"

You sighed in defeat, there wasn't much to worry about, you already warped your chest so you didnt need to worry about that. You hesitantly gave Bill the roll of gauze and once you did he began his work, oddly enough he didn't touch the gauze once. As he wrapped your wounds the world became gray once more, 'the mind scape' you think to yourself, you grabbed the book and began looking through it once more.

Bill noticed and went over to get a better look at what you were looking at. There he saw in your lap the book open on a page about the mindscape. "Really kid?" he asked, grabbing the empty roll of gauze, you let out a small 'mm?' not really paying attention. This always happened when you read, no matter what book it was. "You could have asked me if you wanted to know about it," he threw the empty roll at your head.

You felt your cheeks heat up once more from embarrassment, you didn't want to ask him, mainly because you felt stupid if you did, "I uh I don't trust you," you lied, well half lied.

"The mindscape is different for everyone, an old pal of mine had a mindscape that looked like space with random things floating everywhere. To say his mind was a mess would be an understatement," He started laughing at the end at the thought of his old friend. You closed the book looking up at him in curiosity. "While yours was filled with doors," before you could even ask how he knew that he continued, "I'm from the nightmare realm hence dream demon."

You grabbed the empty roll of gauze and threw it in the trash can barely making it. You grabbed your stuffed bear and wrapped yourself up in a blanket. Bill watched your stupidity with a lazy eye, he waited till you settled down to begin talking once more, wanting you to listen to everything he says.

"I can't come into your world, well not in this form," he began once more moving his hands up and down his body. "I can only come into the mindscape, rather your mindscape." you began to nod your head repeatedly and quickly, showing your understanding and signaling him to continue. "Really anyone I make a deal with, I can't enter their mindscape without making a deal or them letting me in themselves." He looked at his nails as if checking them out, "But no ones gonna let me go in willingly, so I have to make a deal with them." he almosted sounded hurt when he said that.

"Hey wait you said-" he put a finger up to your lips causing you to finish the rest of your question in weird mumbles.

"Nothing else you need to know," he said in a mischievous tone.

You looked up at him and looked back down at his finger, you quickly bit it and began talking once more, "You started talking about my mindscape, how do you even know what it looks like?"

"I know ev-" this time you interrupted him, but he didn't have a mouth so all you did was put your whole hand on his eye causing him to freeze in confusion. "Don't give me that bull shit, you don't even know how to fix your hungriness." You said in a rather harsh tone.

He quickly made himself opaque which caused you to fall face first on your bed. "If you get rid of the problem then it doesn't bug you anymore," he laughed, "see I know everything."

You shot up, sitting, back leaning on the wall, looking up at him, "Yeah and you get rid of the body," you rolled your eyes and threw your bear at him. He moved to the right a bit causing you to fail, "Tell me the real reason, short ass"

"Don't call me that."

"Short ass."

"Don't call me that."

"Short ass."

You'd think you two would be bursting out in laughter but somehow, someway you both managed to stay stoned face, voices not wavering once. Bill decided to take a different approach, he grabbed your bear and threw it back at you, rather he used magic to throw it at you. As he did so he yelled, "Bookworm," once your bear hit you more of your pillows and stuffed animals began to attack you.

This lasted until Bill could hear a faint, "I'll stop, I'll stop" coming from where you were sitting earlier. He placed everything back in its place, laughing when he saw you after the attack. Your hair was a mess and you had a dazed look on your face. "Jeez who knew calling you short got on your nerves so much," you shook your head and began to laugh.

"Oh shut up," He said throwing your bear at you once more before turning everything back into color.

"Hey so the mindscape is all gray and stuff right?" You asked catching your bear, placing it on your lap. You hear Bill let out an "mhm" in response to the question as he began to lay on your pillow. "So how are you here and everything's still colorful?"

"Simple," he said crossing one leg over the other, "We made a deal, now you can only see me. In your world." you let out a small "mm" thinking about what he just told you.

'I shouldn't be out here too long' he thought to himself, feeling how drained and weak he was. He turned looking at you, you were looking at your bear, playing with his hands still deep in thought about the mindscape.

'I'll just wait till she sleeps,' he told himself, 'stupid (y/n)'
