Once you finished laughing, which lasted maybe a minute or so, you checked back at your phone. You checked if Ryan had messaged you back yet, it was now 6:35 AM so he should be up. Low and behold you had no messages, however, you did have to go now. It took you a while to get to school, mainly because, you didn't have a car, rather you don't have a driver's license. You've tried 3 times at this point and still no success but it didnt bother you too much. You liked taking walks in the morning, if you left early enough you would be able to watch the sunrise. For the most part, you always thought 7:20 was way too early for school to start. Most normal schools start at 8 but Gravity Falls wasn't normal so you couldn't expect anything less from the odd town.

You looked over at Bill still sitting on the desk, swinging his legs back and forth clearly board. "Shouldn't you be studying that book like the holly bible?" you asked sarcastically, you laughed at yourself at the thought of a demon studying something holly.

"I willl..." He dragged out the L whining like always.

You looked back at him doing the same, "Whennnnn...?" you grabbed some socks on and put them on, you grabbed a pair of white sneakers and placed them near your door. You also grabbed a cute brown beret with little bear ears on top. You turned looking at your full length mirror. When you looked into it you were met with (e/c) eyes looking back at you a smile on her face. You had a simple soft brown sweater and a brown and white plaid skirt.

"You know you look like a bear right?" Bill asked floating closer to you, he was now in view of the mirror so you could see him floating right next to you.

"Kinda the point," You said not paying him much mind.

"So you wanna be a bear?" he asked floating down and eventually leaning on your shoulder.

"Yes," you said kinda annoyed, then you realized what he had really said, "No wait- no," You began to stutter no longer looking at the man in the mirror. Bill just laughed hitting your shoulder as he tried to gasp for air, he didnt really need air but he thought it was funny to do.

You used the arm he wasn't resting on to push him away, he pouted in sadness, "Come on kid," he began floating near you while you made your bed. "You have a weird love for that bear, you have to admit it".

You let out a heavy sigh, grabbing the said bear and placing him in the middle of your newly made bed. "I know I do," you began, flopping backward on your bed, once your back hit the mattress you began to speak once more, " he's been my best friend for who knows how long." You could feel tears began to form in your eyes, your breathing slowed as you tried to calm yourself not wanting to cry in front of the sadistic demon.

You'd see all these cute things families do, whether in public or in movies and books. You always saw how happy everyone looked, or you'd read about how loving the main character's parents sounded. When you were younger you'd try to do things with your parents, mainly things you'd see in movies and storybooks. You'd tried to make breakfast for your parents like how you read in books, maybe it wasn't a good idea to follow a book with fairs and magic to a T. In the end you made something along the lines of pancake and scrambled eggs. Sure it was a mess and gross and definitely not something you wanted to see when you first woke up but your parents didnt really give you any mind. They didnt even get mad at you, they just woke up, threw away the mess you made, and began to actually cook.

School you had no one either, but it didnt hurt as bad. You'd read books about the shy and quiet kids and they always turned out to be the heroes, so school never affected you. No one bullied you or wanted to pick fights, you were just invisible. You used to think that you were the main character, you were quiet, shy, and mainly an outcast, and inviability was just your superpower.

You were lonely.

And you knew damn well.

You kept telling yourself that this was the beginning of your story, that you have to have a sad backstory for readers to like you. You kept telling yourself, it helped. It didnt help much but it helped. You were happy, you knew in those books the protagonist always got a friend or a lover or something. They get a happy ending, so you would too.

You always told yourself that, until some point in high school. You didnt know when but you began to give up on that, you gave in to the fact you wouldn't get your happy ending, you would never be heard no matter how loud you yelled.

Throughout it all, you had one thing that kept you from the break of insanity. Maybe he wasn't real, nor could he respond but he listened. He was always there and always had his hands out for a hug. Sure he was a stuffed bear, a bear you were given when you were born by an old relative, but it made you feel heard.

You began to think about your past, 'A lonely protagonist,' you paused trying to remember what else 'meets a new friend who helps them become more outgoing and they finally know the meaning of friendship,' you cringed at how cheesy it sounded 'at the end they end up falling in love' you repeated the stages of a classic cheesy romance, slowly to yourself. 'A lonely protagonist,' you sat up, placing your hands behind your back, shifting all the weight on your hands. 'meets a new friend who helps them become more outgoing and they finally know the meaning of friendship,' you couldn't help look at Bill from the corner of your eye. He was playing with your other stuffed animals, you shook your head and frowned your eyebrows, 'yeah no thats a big triangle baby,' then you thought about the last part 'at the end they end up falling in love' you practically threw up on the inside. You quickly shook your head telling yourself that life is never like the books.

You couldn't help thinking about it though, 'falling in love? With,' you looked back at the idiot who was currently making your stuffed animals fight, 'Bill?'
