You slept for hours, mumbling and whimpering in your sleep. You thought you were snuggling your bear as you slept but in reality, it was a snarky yellow triangle. As you slept he played with your hair. Not in the way you'd think, he'd grab a chunk of your hair and put it on top of himself, he grabbed another small chunk and held it below his eye and above his bowtie.

This lasted for 3 hours, you finally woke up when Bill accidentally sent you both flying across the room. You whined in pain as you slid down the wall. "Why?" you asked weakly. Bill was ever so kind to make you two doge the TV.

You fell on the floor with a "thud" and watched as he flew right out of your arms. "Sorry kid, " he said sounding the least bit sorry, "acting gone too far"

You didn't say anything and just glared at him. You tried slowly moving up, but you began to wince in pain. You slowly turned around, looking down. You saw shattered glass on the floor, some with droplets of blood.

You sighed as your eyes began to fill with tears. All the photos on the wall were your father and your mother. You instantly felt horrible, the feeling of regret and loneliness filled you. The photos themselves seemed fine, no rips or creases. You felt as if there was something missing, rather someone missing. You couldn't remember the last time you took a photo with your dad, let alone your parents. The last time you remembered taking a family photo was when you were 6. Bill flew over to you looking at the mess he caused.

Once he got closer to you he saw your back. His eye widened in horror. He quickly flew over to one of the drawers and pulled out a first aid kit he saw when in your body the other day.

You on the other hand started cleaning up the broken glass and broken frames. You piled the photos on top of one another. As you were cleaning you felt your eyes start to strain. You felt something fall off your nose, slowly and surely your cheeks began to feel cold here and there. You realized you were crying.

You were always lonely, you were always left out, you were the black sheep, you knew it. It was written in your story. But God, it hurt. It hurt worse than the pain in your back.

Once Bill got back to you, he heard some light sobs. He slowly approaches you, "(y/n)?" he said softly trying not to startle you. You quickly sniffled, whipping your tears with your sleeve. "Look I'm sorry I didn't mean to" he said flatly. It didn't sound genuine, sounded more half-assed than anything. You couldn't blame him, he had other more important things to worry about.

He threw the first aid kit to you, barely hitting you. "Here, this should help, " he said quickly and flew right near the door, "Look I got some business to take care of. I'll be back." he quickly said waving at you, and just like that he was gone.

You felt a mixed of emotions, you shouldn't have been surprised. No one sticks around to hang out with you, yet a part of you wished he did. Your reasonable side told you it was because of the deal, your less reasonable side countered, telling you it was because he liked being with you.

You sighed and continued to clean up. Once you did, the feeling of warm liquid finally stopped. You sighed, picked up the photos, and placed them on the kitchen island. You went over to the pantry and grabbed the broom and dustpan. When you did you hissed in pain realizing you cut yourself on the glass.

'Today's been wonderful' you thought to yourself sarcastically. You walked back and began to sweep all the glass and broken frame. You grabbed the dustpan, full of glass and carefully made your way to one of the cabinets, and grabbed an old baby cloth. You placed all the glass inside the cloth and carefully wrapped it up and threw it away. You would buy more frames later but right now you had to take care of your back.

You slowly made your way upstairs holding the first aid kit in one hand and the railing in the other. As you kept going up, higher and higher everything seemed more distraught. After a while, you finally made it upstairs and into your room. You opened your bathroom and took off your shirt. Your coat had fallen off while you were sleeping or someone moved it, but no one could get in the house besides your dad.

You turned facing your shower, so now your back was facing the mirror. You tried your best to look at the mirror but all you really could see was cuts going up and down. You swear you saw a letter but you weren't sure. All the blood was covering most of your back and when you turned it shifted a lot of your muscle as well.

You sighed, the only way you would be able to properly fix this up was to wash all the blood off and figure out how to wrap it. With that, you began to strip down to nothing and hop in the shower. You turned on the water tilting the handle towards the letter 'H' signaling heat, or hot. You let out a small hiss when the cold water hit your back. You knew it was inevitable but it still took you by surprise. Soon after the water began to warm up and once it did, a small moan escaped your lips.

Today has been quite a day for you, well the past two days have been a whirlwind of emotions. Your mind came to Bill, ever since he came into your life things haven't been quiet anymore. It's been two days but it feels like a year or 12. You used to feel lonely when it was all quiet, but right now all you needed was quietness.

'Wheres Bill anyways?' you thought to yourself, it's not like you cared or maybe you did. When you were with him it was a whole new feeling. You weren't lonely anymore, you felt like Horatio and Hamlet. Maybe it was due to your lack of friends and close ones but you got attached to Bill rather quickly.

You shook your head, trying to focus on something else. The only thing you really paid attention to was the pitter patter of the water. You listened as it hit your chest then to the floor of the bath. You looked up at the showerhead, feeling the warm water trickle down your skin. When you did you felt a sharp pain in your back. 'Right,' you thought to yourself, turning off the water, stepping out, and grabbing a towel. You began to dry yourself off, lightly dabbing your back, making sure not to open any cuts.

You faced your shower once again, looking back at the mirror. You saw the cuts a bit better this time. Again you thought you could see a letter but you quickly shook your head no longer seeing it. You opened the kit taking out a roll of gauze. You had no idea where all of them were but you had a good idea where most of them were. You started the gauze at your armpit, keeping your hand to your side so it didn't move. You began to wrap it around your back, slowly but surely. The second layer going on top of the first one, freeing your arm. You began to wrap your whole back. Was it a waste of gauze? Maybe, but you really didn't know. 'Rather be safe, then sorry' you thought.

You threw away your shirt and quickly made your way back into your room. You forgot to grab clothes before you went to rinse yourself. You threw on whatever you could find first, which was just an oversized flannel and some undergarments. You took your coat and emptied the pockets, putting them all on your desk. You threw your skirt into the hamper and sat down at your desk.

You opened your laptop, seeing that the time was 4:30 PM, it was too early to do anything you wanted to do, like sleep. You opened up google chromed and signed into your school Gmail. You made your way to Powerschool, checking your grades but mainly seeing your attendance. You felt your heart sink when you noticed you weren't marked as absent. Normally people would be happy they weren't marked down after they skipped school but you, you felt heartbroken. You quickly checked your school's email, also seeing nothing.

You were left alone, once again.

' But it was okay.

It's like everything's back to normal

Like nothing ever happened

Like he was never here'
