3 HOURS BEFORE FLIGHT...

"You've gotta just pick one."

"I know!" Asher walks back into the room wearing a large sweater.

"Really?"

"What? Planes are always cold."

"But it's over 100° outside and over 90° in Atlanta."

"But it's comfy."

"Then wear it. But no complaining when you're sweating your balls off in the plane."

"Fine." He goes back into his closet.

"Put on that first outfit. It was cute."

"But..."

"But what?" Asher walks back out with no shirt.

"I don't know. It's not comfy enough for a flight."

"Than wear nothing. You look so much better with no clothes."

"Oh my gosh." I walk up and kiss him. "But seriously..."

"Lord you're crazy." I kiss him again. "I'm gonna go and grab my water bottle. If you haven't picked out what to wear when I get back..."

"What will you do?"

"Oh, you'll see."

"I'm intrigued..." We kiss once more before I leave the room.

"Hey." Coco walks into the kitchen as I'm filling my water bottle up.

"Hey."

"Is he done yet?"

"Kinda. I'm trying to push him."

"Good luck. He's worse than London when it comes to getting packed and leaving on time."

"Yeah." We both laugh.

"Well, I should get back up before he starts unpacking his bags looking for an outfit."

"Yeah." She looks at me and it feels a bit odd.

"Is everything okay?"

"I just want you to know that I'm very happy with you and Asher's... friendship."

"Oh... um... yeah. Thanks."

"I mean it. What you two have is special."

"Yeah. It is." Does she know?

"That's all I wanted to say. I'm just hoping it all goes well with you guys."

"Me too."

"Where'd you go?" Asher shouts as he comes down with his last suitcase.

"Oh, I was just babbling. Caught his ear."

"Lord you can talk mom."

"Are you finally ready to go?"

"Yeah. Let's go."

"Oh, now he's in a hurry." We both laugh.

"You guys are weird."

"I'll bring the bag to the car. Check to make sure you've got everything. I'll meet you out there." She grabs the bag and goes out the front door.

"You ready?" Asher looks at me, grabbing my hand.

"Not really. But... but I know I've got you by my side. And that makes me ready enough. I can't be scared with you around."

"And I wouldn't want to be with anyone else either."
