The room is quiet now

I feel someone holding my hand and immediately knew who it was

"You're an asshole" i heard tia

The fuck?

"You scared the shit outta me" she continued

"Please don't scare me like that no more" she sounded like she was crying

Please stay strong

"I won't" is what I wanted to scream

I wanted to wake up and hold her in my arms and tell her I'd never let her go

But I couldnt

I couldnt simply open my eyes, lift my arm, hell I couldnt even wiggle my toes if I wanted to

"You gotta wake up papa remember our date? You said we was going on a date"

Tia's Pov

"Dont leave me" I cried and let his hand go then layed my head down on the bed next to his legs

I heard a knock then the door opened making me sit up quick

"Hi mr- oh he still hasn't awaken?" The nurse asked while holding a clip board

I shook my head and looked at him

"Okay uhh" she sat the clipboard down and went over to him after putting on hand sanitizer

She listened to his heart and checked behind his ears for some reason

Afterwards, she lifted his eyelid and checked it with a light

"Hmm....his eyes are dilating which means he is alive and well" she nodded

Next she lifted his cover and ran her pen up and down his foot

No reaction

"Hmm" she tapped her chin

"Mr. Fields can you hear me?" She asked and put the cover back over him

No reaction

"Okay I'm gonna go get the doctor, one second please" she smiled and picked up the clipboard

When she left out I looked at him

I put my hand in his gown and felt his chest

His heart is beating

I sniffled then got up and grabbed his face softly

There was a knock then the doctor came in and the same nurse followed him

"Hi mrs...." he trailed off

"Monclair" I stood up and wiped my eyes

"Wait I thought you was his sister" he raised an eyebrow while putting on sanitizer

"I have a different dad" I told him and looked down at brazy

"Okay okay well you aren't listed on his list of people to hear his personal information so I can't share anything with you....is mom still here?" He came over to brazy then took his stethoscope off and prepared it

"No but I can call her" I pulled my phone out

I called her

"Hello?"
