"So you're good to go" the doctor smiled at me after putting his stethoscope back around his neck

I looked at my mom who was smiling

I called and apologized the same day I made her leave and since then we've been getting closer and closer

I'm even excited for her bab- my brother to come

"Thank you doc" she said and stood up

I got up and yawned then went and brushed my teeth

I already took a shower but I didnt get dressed so I grabbed my suitcase and took it in the restroom with me

"Home but I'm on my way down there ima meet you at ya house" he said and I heard shuffling

"Okay" I nodded while sitting the last bag in there

"Ima stop by the mall do you want anything in specific? Cuz I'm rey go shopping for you" he said and I huffed

"Xavier you just went shopping for me 2 days ago please just come to me" I frowned

"Aight mama I'm on my way I love you" he said making me smile

He hung up and I tucked my phone in my back pocket before sitting down in the car

"Are you hungry? We can stop somewhere"

"Toya said she's cooking for me tonight" I shrugged

"Oh I know I just thought maybe you were hungry now" she smiled

"Oh nah I'm alright" I smiled too

"Okay well im gonna stop at long John silvers because he's hungry" she pointed to her belly

"Are you coming to the dinner?" I looked at her

"Yeah I'll be there Toya told me to get you a dessert I was gonna get sweet potato pie does that sound good?" She asked

"Yeah thats fine" I nodded

"Okay good I'll bring it" she smiled

I blinked then sat back and closed my eyes

"Yo is tia back in town?" Zae asked as we was on facetime while I drove

"Uhh yeah she at home sleep right now" I looked at the phone then back up at the road

"Fuck dog i need ha to meet kenny" he sighed

"Aye when you gon tell the rest of the guys about you?" I asked while switching lanes

"Im working on it" he scratched his neck

"You're lying" I smacked my teeth

"Man look let me handle that aight? Meanwhile let me know when tia get up I want yall to go on a double date with us or something" he said then I seen him hold the phone while he bent down, looking for something

"Aight man lemme talk to ha about it and see how she feel" I chuckled while eyeing a car behind me

"Aye hold on Liz calling" I told him after seeing her name pop up across the screen
