Chapter 35

Ilang araw na matapos ang nanyari na pag halik saakin ni Permion, at ilang araw na din akong hindi pumupunta sa bahay nila. Hindi ko alam pero iba sa pakiramdam kapag si Permion mismo ang nag insist ng halik na iyon. Before I'm always the one who take the first move to kissed him but now... Huminga ako ng malalim bago alisin sa isip ko ang pangyayari na iyon.

"...babe" napatingin ako kay Kelio nang tawagin nya ako. He looked at me curiously. I pressed my lips together. I smiled at him. Walang alam si Kelio sa nangyari saamin ni Permion at wala akong balak sabihin sakanya dahil baka mag kagulo lang.

"What is it, Kel?" takang tanong ko. Tumagal ang tingin nito saakin na parang sinusuri ang mukha ko. I smiled at him and he looked at the papers in front of us. 

"What do you think about this design?" takang tanong nito saakin habang nakatingin pa din sa mga papel sa lamesa. Tumingin ako kung nasaan sya nakatingin. It's our time so I will not think anything, just him.

All the designs are good and very unique. "It's beautiful, Kel. Ito ba ang magiging interior ng company nyo?" takang tanong ko. He looked at me and nodded his head. 

"Well, it's just some example, pipili pa naman ako, and I'm asking for your opinion, babe. What do you think?" takang tanong nito. Kinuha ko ang isang design doon at sinuri ng mabuti. I licked my lower lips before answering him.

"This design looks good in the eye, because of it's neutral colors and the furniture suits the while place. I think this is the best interior for me. " nakangiting sabi ko habang hawak ang isang papel na may laman ng design.

It's a white and black palette. I really like neutral colors. I looked at him and he's observing the design properly. He looked at me and smiled.

"W-what? " natatawang tanong ko sakanya. He leaned towards me and kissed my lips. Nabigla pa ako dahil sa bigla nitong pag halik pero agad naman iyong natapos.

"You're great, babe. " nakangiting sabi nito. Hindi ko maiwasang hindi mapangiti dahil sa sinabi nito. I smiled at him and nodded my head.

"Where did you learn this kind of stuff?" taking tanong nito.

"Well, Permion-" napahinto ako sa pag sasalita nang ma-realize ko ang sinabi ko. He looked at me like he's also curious why I said Permion's name. I cleared my throat and bit my lower lip.

"P-Permion, taught me. " sagot ko dito. Tumango ito bago muling halikan ang labi ko. Madali lang iyon at agad nag paalam na tatawagan ang namumuno sa design  ng company nila. I brushed my hair using my fingers.

What a naughty mouth of yours, Lyons!  Huminga ako ng malalim bago isandal ang likod ko sa sofa. Bakit ko naman kasi nasabi ang pangalan ni Permion?!

It's true that Permion taught me because he's studying Architecture when he taught me about that and I don't have any idea na ma-a-addopt ko pala ang knowledge na iyon.

Napa-angat ako ng tingin nang bumalik na si Kelio. He smiled at me. Tumayo ako dito at yinakap ito. He brushed my hair using his hands.

"I'm sorry.... " I feel guilty because I said Permion's name in front of him. Ayaw kong may ma-misunderstood sya sa sinabi ko kanina.

"You didn't do anything, Lyons. Actually you really a big help. Thanks, babe. " I looked up at him and smile.

Nawala ang tingin ko kay Kelio nang marinig kong tumunog ang cellphone ko hudyat na may tawag. Humiwalay ako sa yakap ni Kelio at kinuha ang cell phone ko sa bag.

I saw Eri's name calling so I immediately answered it.

"Hey!  What's up? " taking tanong ko dito.

"Nothing. I'm just asking if you're free tomorrow? " napakunot ang noo ko sa sinabi nito.

"Why?  What's the occasion? "

"Well, it's just a simple welcome party for you." sagot nito.

"Why? You don't have to. Tsaka ilang beses na tayong nag kita ngayon ka pa lang mag papa welcome party." sagot ko.

I heard her sighed heavily. "Basta. Pumunta ka nalang." sagot nito bago ibaba ang tawag. Napailing nalang ako sa sinabi ni Eri, ano nanaman kaya ang trip noon. Bumalik ang tingin ko kay Kelio na mukhang nag tatanong kung ano ang sinabi ni Eri.

"She told me that we are having a welcome party for me." sagot ko.Tumango ito sa sinabi ko bago mag paalam na aalis na. Pag ka alis ni Kelio ay agad akong pumunta sa kwarto ko para mag pahinga. Kahit wala naman akong ibang ginawa ay parang pagod pa din ako. Maybe I'm thinking too much. 

Napatingin ako sa cellphone ko nang tumunog iyon at lumabas ang number ni mommy. Agad akong umupo mula sa pag kakaupo at sinagot agad ang tawag. Ito ang unang beses na tumawag ito saakin.

"Mom... " Bati ko dito.

"Hey, Lyons. How are you? " tanong nito sa kabilang linya. I smiled before answering her. I miss my mom's voice.

"I'm doing fine here..." sagot ko.

"do you meet your other friends? "

Bumalik ako sa pag kakahiga at tumingin sa kisame. I really miss her...a lot and I wish she was here. Siguro nasanay lang talaga ako na kasama ko sya lagi kaya naging bago ulit saakin  kapag wala sya.

"Yeah, I already met them and...we talked a lot and talk about the past... I had fun a lot. They have their own family and children now and I'm happy for them. They found... someone for them. " pag ku-kwento ko. Hindi ko namalayan na may tumulong luha na pala sa pisngi ko.

Agad ko itong pinunasan at nakinig sa isasagot ni mommy.

"That's great, sweetheart....How about....Permion?  Have you talk already? " she asked. I know that she would really asked about Permion and I have my answer for her already.

"Y-yeah, we already talked about the past. H-he has a daughter now. She's very sweet, jolly and chubby. I really like her and she likes my cupcake. " natatawang sabi ko sakanya. I heard her giggled on the other line.

"How's Permion? How's the both of you? " nabigla ako sa tinanong nito. Maybe this is the question that I'm not prepared. Like....I never imagined it think that she would asked this question.

I never knew the answer to this question.

"W-we're fine... We already talked." nauutal na sabot ko.

"That's good. I hope that you can bring back the closeness between the two of you, just like the old time...." maybe, in another parallel universe, maybe some things would be different, maybe were still close and friends.

"I should end this call and you should rest too. Bye,Lyons. Keep safe and remove that I'll always love you. " may ngiting humulma sa mga labi ko nang sabihin nya iyon.

"I love you too, mom. " sagot ko bago ibaba ang tawag.

I should really rest. After all there will be a welcome party they prepared for me. I don't want to let their effort go to waste.
