Aira woke up early, sat up and looked around the room. Dex and Eli were not in the room anymore. Riley and Ethan were still asleep while Noah snuggled against Lizzie. She was amused with Noah. While Yayay was not around, his Ate Ichie is the next best option. He didn't look for Mommy anymore. Sometimes she got sad about it but she somehow accepted the fact that children distanced themselves from their parents when they grow up. It's just that Noah was too young to do it right now. Oh, well, he has Yayay, eh?

She stood up and had a quick shower. She needed to check the breakfast spread for the men. It's just past 6AM and the training will start around 8:30AM. Then she went outside of the big house.

She heard some shouting around the pavilion? But as she walked, it seemed that the men were cheering around the pool. She rushed and wanted to see what's with all the cheering and the fun was all about this early. She hoped that some of those who were  still sleeping in their units were not being disturbed from their well deserved sleep.

She saw Dex laughing and cheering as she came nearer the pool. Oh, they were cheering for two people swimming against each other.

"Mahal, bilis", Dex saw her and then looked on the two people in the pool. Oh, it was Eli and who's the other one? She wondered as she went near Dex. Dad was there too, cheering for Eli. She hugged Dex and also Dad.

"Ang galing ni master. 3 ikot na yan, haha", Dex said and she realized the other person was  Patty. She was a good swimmer alright but yes, Eli was the stronger swimmer. In the last lap, Eli was halfway finished and Patty was struggling already.

The men cheered for Eli and then Patty slowed down, giving up already. When she reached Eli, as he waited for her, she hugged Eli and they high fived.

"The winner!", she said and the men clapped for the two of them. Some shook Eli's hand and Eli looked at Dex happily. He was surprised to see Mommy.

"Mommy, haha", Eli said as he climbed out of the pool and went near them. Patty stayed in the pool. She was wearing a one-piece bikini and Aira can see that she's very comfortable with it. Well, she's almost American now so it's fine by her. It was a very conservative one-piece though.

"You're very good Kuya?", Aira asked him. She didn't see the whole swimming contest but since the men were happy for Eli, he must be very good.

"Yes, he is. Methinks he's really in good form eh?", Dad said as he grinned at Eli.

"Ang galing Mahal. Patricia, matanda ka na, haha", Dex teased Patty and she just gave Dex the fist sign, as if she's gonna punch him. Aira smiled at her. Yeah, they were comfortable with each other. They were friends, that's all.

"I'll check on breakfast Babe", she said as she hold Eli's head. Then said bye to her Dad. Dex nodded and they were about to go to the pavilion.

"Can I still swim Mommy?", Eli asked her.

"Of course. You should enjoy the pool while Noah's still asleep", she said and waved at Patty. Some of the participants also went swimming. Aira went to the pavilion. Dex also waved at Patty then went with Aira.

"Minsan Mahal nagugulat din ako kay Eli. Sobrang galing!", Dex told her

"Yes. Even I sometimes was surprised with his talent and skill", she agreed with Dex.

"Wow naman, ang sarap ng breakfast", Dex said as he saw the initial spread of garlic bread, eggs, bacon and pancakes. Fruit preserves and butter plus coffee and juices.
