Chapter 41

Sunday morning. Eli woke up and put more pillows around Noah. He stood up and brushed his teeth then went out of the big house and made his way towards Lolo Dad's unit.

Dad was on the deck already listening to music.

"Good morning Lolo Dad", he said as he hugged his lolo.

"Good morning. I was enjoying my music while waiting for you", he said and smiled at him.

"You're so cool Lolo Dad", Eli said

"My simple pleasures", he said as he turned the music off and joined Eli.

They had their walk going to Lolo Dad's favorite spot.

"You will stay here again Lolo?", Eli asked him.

"Yes. While there are men here and can keep me company, i'd rather stay here while you're all in school", he said.

"As long as you're okay here Lolo. I know that at least you can have your walk every day here", Eli smiled at him.

"That's true. And don't worry, I'm not overdoing things", he assured Eli.

"Yes Lolo Dad. Please take care of yourself. I really want to drive you outside of this site. Just 4 more years and I will be allowed to drive already, haha", Eli said

"haha. No worries. I'm as strong as a bull and I'm looking forward to our joy ride", Lolo Dad laughed and put his arm around Eli. He hugged his Lolo Dad back.

"Kuya, Lolo Dad, I want a group hug too, haha", Lizzie called them out and ran to them. Lolo Dad and Eli indulged her and they hugged each other.

"Are we ready to eat?", Eli asked her

"Yes. Then we swim a little bit and then we're going home", she told them

"Oh. Lolo Dad will be sad", Lolo Dad said with a crestfallen expression. Eli and Lizzie looked at each other.

"haha, I'm just kidding", Lolo Dad said and Lizzie hugged him on his middle.

"Lolo Dad ha, joke joke ka dyan", he said and they laughed at that.

"Ok. Let's go na Lolo Dad?", Eli asked and he nodded, as they made their way to the big house.

They reached the big house and Kate and Aira hugged Dad.

"Good morning. How are you feeling this morning Dad?", Kate asked him as she gave him his plate.

"Never been better. The fresh air here suits me well", he said and thanked Aira as she gave him his tea.

Dex joined them carrying Noah with him.

"Yayay", he said at once. Eli went to Dex and took Noah from him.

"You kiss Lolo Dad first", he said and Noah even wound his arms around Lolo Dad's neck and kiss him. Aira was happy to see him doing that. Such a sweet child. Then he went with Eli again.

"Let's eat first bebe", Aira said and he nodded but he waited for Yayay to sit beside him first. Aira was amused with his early hero-worshipping.

After breakfast, the kids went to swim again.

Lizzie was playing with Noah. Eli allowed him to float and he was happy about it. Screaming as Lizzie pursued him. The early laughter warmed Aira's heart . She was sure that even Dad loved that wonderful sound.

"Riley, Ethan, last 60 minutes", Bry told them

"Dad, are we going already? Not yet please?', Riley appealed to him.
