"Is Dex not ready yet?', Dad asked Aira. He had been walking back and forth in the living room.

"Just 10 more minutes Dad. He had a meeting with Nick. It was Nick's fault", she said and smiled at him. They still have plenty of time to spare. Lizzie and Noah were in the school already. They were having their own farewell parties in their own respective rooms. Eli's graduation is at 1:00 o'clock at the school's assembly hall.

"ok. Eli told me that I will receive his Academic Excellence award for him again. You don't mind that?", Dad asked her.

"I don't mind Dad. Eli preferred it and as always, we'll be receiving his special awards anyway", Aira said and stood up when she heard Dex going downstairs.

"Ok na Mahal", Dex said and gave her a quick hug.

"Everything's okay Babe? Dad's excited. He can't wait, haha", Aira teased Dad. Dex just nodded. He will tell Aira the good news later.

"haha. Yes. I can't wait even to be back to Canada", Dad said. After Eli's graduation, they will treat his classmates at the Points of View. Well, those that were available. Some of his classmates also have other plans. After that will be their trip to Canada.

"it's been years Dad", Aira said as she called Amor and then they get in the van, while Dex closed everything and get in the van too. Dad sat beside him.

The school's got a festive mood. The new principal really do not make things half heartedly. Aira mentioned it to Dex.

"Kaya nga Mahal di ba Dad? Dad mentioned it Mahal, sabi ko baka everyone's in a festive mood kasi no school anymore, haha", Dex said. Dad and Aira laughed.

"Haha, maybe, that's the general sentiment, eh? They're free from all the recitation and those readings", she said.

"Si ganda, free na from Math. Nakalusot na naman, hehe", Dex said.

"She said so. She was able to pass it because that was the only subject that she reviewed, haha", Lolo Dad said.

"The important thing Dad is she's still the Top 1. In a year or so, she will take a leave of absence from being a Top 1. If there's such a thing, haha", Aira said as she shake her head. Lizzie was not comfortable with Calculus and she already get their approval that she will take it easy after Grade 10.

"But I promise Mommy, I will be the one to deliver the gratitude speech, haha", Lizzie said.

They proceeded just beside the school's new Auditorium where the parents and students alike assembled. She can't see Eli yet and Lizzie and Noah must be somewhere else. They were not in their rooms earlier.

As most graduation, there were a lot of picture taking, the students were like moving around in opposing directions, really excited of the graduation or they will finally be facing a whole new world outside of the high school.
