Riley woke up early. She's really serious in making sure that they will eat breakfast together as a family. She knew that Mom and Dad also look forward to their daily bonding, even though how short their bonding were sometimes.

"Good morning Mom", Riley said as she hugged Kate.

"Good morning", Kate said and put the food on the table as Riley set the plates. Ethan came in and hugged Kate too.

"I'll get Dad Mom?', he asked her

"he'll be down in a minute", Kate assured them as they took their seats.

"Ate Yna's wedding's beautiful Mom", Riley told Kate.

"Definitely. It's a nice one and Yna was such a pretty bride", Kate said.

"Are all brides pretty Mom?", Riley asked her

"of course", Kate nodded smiling at her teen-age daughter. She suddenly realized that sooner than later, Riley will be interested in boys already.

"Good morning", Bry said as he joined them.

"Good morning Dad", Riley said as she stood up and hugged Bry. Ethan did the same.

"Ano yung brides are pretty?", he asked no one in particular.

"Oh. Riley asked if all brides looked pretty", Kate asked

"Not only pretty. They're all happy too", Bry said, grinning at Riley.

"Really Dad?", she asked him

"Yes. It's because it's the man whose going to pay for everything, haha", Bry said and was sorry for his bad joke when his joke was met with somehow confused and shocked expression from Ethan and Riley.

"Your Dad's kind of a joke is, how do you call it?", Kate asked, trying to remember the term the children used.

"It's waley, haha", Riley said.

"Yeah. Bad joke I guess, haha. Sorry Hon. I really need some practice in making joke joke, hehe", Bry apologized but Ethan gave him a thumb's up.

"it's the thought that counts Dad, haha", he said and they laughed with that corny joke of their Dad.

"by the way Dad, Kuya Zac has a boyfriend? I heard it from Tito Allan", Riley asked him

"Well, we can't do anything about it. If Tita Cha's fine with it, who are we to say otherwise, yes?", Bry said. Really sign of times. Iba na rin kasi yung generation naming no Hon? Today, those kinds of relationships are already acceptable, so", Bry said and shrugged his shoulders.

"We don't judge your Kuya Zac but personally I hope that you and Ethan will have a more normal relationships", Kate said.

"is it okay to have a foreigner for a boyfriend Dad? I mean not now, haha. Just random question", Riley said and Bry looked at her.
