Deena and Kate didn't really want to go to the party to begin with, but Simon had begged them and convinced them as he explained that every teenager should experience going to a party at least once in their life. So, as you can imagine, Simon was off talking with random people, being a dork and drinking, while Kate and Deena just stood there by a wall and observed the teenagers having fun and getting drunk. They had already been there for an hour and Deena was more than bored. She didn't drink anything, neither did Kate. The party was mostly on the ground floor, since the beer pong and other random games were in the living room and garden. Deena then had to go to the bathroom. She walked to it but it was occupied. There had to be a second one on the first floor. She walked up the stairs and made her way to the bathroom when she saw at the end of the hallway a clumsy and clearly drunk blonde girl being lead to a bedroom by a guy. She recognized the two and clenched her jaw. She had to do something.
-Hey, there you are., said Deena walking up to them.
The boy looked at her and rolled his eyes.
-What do you want?, sighed the boy who did not seem to be drunk.
-Nothing, her mom just asked me to bring her home safe before 10pm, so we need to get going., lied the brunette.
-Before 10pm?, frowned the boy.
-Yes., nodded Deena grabbing Sam's wrist and pulling her away from the boy.
The blonde seemed lost and confused, but well, Sam didn't need much to get drunk. Two shots and one beer was all it took. She looked at Deena and scrunched her nose.
-Well, we still have at least 10 minutes. That's enough for me., smirked the boy reaching for Sam but Deena got in front of the blonde girl.
-Not really. I have to drop my other friends at their houses as well.,said Deena already turning around and letting Sam lean on her.
-Wow. You're a real cockblock. Why can't you just let me have some fun and then y'all can leave?, scoffed the boy.
By then, Deena had been gone for a few minutes, which alerted Kate, so the brunette appeared upstairs. She saw Sam completely wrecked and Deena being hella angry, and then the boy behind them.
-Can you hold her real quick?, said Deena pushing Sam towards Kate.
-Uh-, started Kate but Deena was already turned back around facing the boy.
-So, let me get this clear, for you, rape is fun?, scoffed the brunette.
-What? Who talked about rape? Are you crazy?, frowned the boy.
-She's drunk. When someone is drunk, they are not in the right state of mind to give their consent, therefore, it would be considered rape. And would it be really smart to try that with the girl of a lawyer? Pretty sure she would sue your ass and get you some time in juvie. So, next time you decide to take a girl in a bedroom who's under the influence of alcohol, I hope you remember that what you'll be doing is rape. R-a-p-e., explained Deena as she got closer to the boy.
-Yeah, it's confirmed. You're crazy., replied the boy.
-Yeah, I am. So leave Sam alone, or you'll have to see my crazy ass again., threatened the brunette walking back to Sam and Kate.
The taller brunette took care of Sam again and lead her downstairs, not caring about the boy screaming after them.
-Hey, can you get Simon? I think it's time we leave., said Deena as she walked through the hallway with Sam and Kate.
-Yes., nodded Kate already walking away.
Deena made her way to her car, opening the passenger's door and helping Sam sit down. The blonde girl was mumbling some things, but nothing that Deena could comprehend. She was about to close the door when she heard her say her name.
-I'm here., replied the brunette as she bend down to be at the same level as her.
-Wanna know...a secret?, giggled the blonde girl.
-Sure., chuckled Deena.
-I don't hate you., whispered drunk Sam, touching Deena's face.
-That's good to know., smiled Deena lightly.
-Wanna know another secret?, said Sam biting her bottom lip.
-Shoot., chuckled the brunette.
-I like you. Maybe even a liiiiiittle bit too much., giggled Sam and then putting her finger on her lips and going: shhhhhhh.
Deena frowned, but fortunately, Kate had arrived with Simon, and they got in the backseats. Deena closed the door and got to the driver's seat, starting the car.
-It's so earlyyyy, why do we have to leave?, pouted Simon, who was also pretty drunk.
-Because we have school tomorrow and you'll get a big hungover if we don't get you home and make you drink some water., replied Kate punching his shoulder playfully.
-I'm not drunk. Look, I can sing you the whoooole alphabet. A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, ELLEMENOPEEEEEE-, started Simon.
-Make him shut uuuuup., groaned Sam scrunching her nose.
Kate and Deena simply laughed, as the smaller brunette put a cushion that was laying around on Simon's face.
-Why is it so dark all of the sudden?, asked Simon, his words slightly muffled.
-Is he staying at your house?, wondered Deena.
-Yeah, pretty sure his dad would murder him if he showed up like that., chuckled Kate.
Deena nodded at stopped at Kate's house.
-Do you need help with him or will you be okay?, wondered Deena.
-I got it, don't worry., smiled Kate.
-Thanks Kate. For everything., said the brunette.
-Yeah, anytime. We'll talk tomorrow, okay?, replied the smaller girl as she got out of the car followed by Simon.
She waved at them and then turned to Sam.
-Your house is next., said Deena.
-No. Nooooo. Please, not my house. Mom is gonna kill me and then dad is gonna leave again and I don't want dad to leave. I like dad., rambled Sam.
-Okay, okay. Will you stop talking if I take you to my place?, sighed Deena.
-Oooooh, Johnson house. Okay, I like the sound of that., nodded the blonde girl.
Deena sighed. Here we go. Next stop, Johnson house.
