A stupid yellow card, with a creepy looking santa lies in my hands. Inside it says to have a Merry Cheerful Christmas, with snowman covering the rest of the card. It's the only thing I got for Drew, mostly because I couldn't care less about him. Natalie calls me from downstairs and I put the card in my backpack, walking out of my finished new room and down to the kitchen.

"You'll be late Loofus," Andrew says. " Its your last day before break, do you want to miss out on all that fun."

"Ha Ha," I say sarcastically.

I sit at my side of the table, where three pancakes are already waiting for me. As I start eating, Natalie and Andrew both sit across from me, watching as I eat the pancakes. Confusion starts to set itself in and I stop eating, placing my fork to the side and swallowing what was left in my mouth.

"Did I do something wrong?," I say.

"Just tell her Nat," Andrew says impatiently.

"Okay. Beatrice, you know how you've been wanting to see Caleb for a while now," Natalie starts.

Caleb name grabs my attention and my heart starts beating faster, my ears listening carefully. She sighs and takes a deep breathe before finishing.

"We are planning on adopting him too," she finishes.

I stare at them in awe and I'm to in shock to say anything at all. Not only do they want whats best for me, but they are getting whats best for me. They want to adopt Caleb and have both of us in this amazing happy family. No more pain, no more suffering, no more lose. Everything that was causing both of us pain is now fading because two people want us, both. I get up from my seat and hug them both, tightly. My cries fill the room and Natalie pulls away cleaning my tears.

"We want you two to be together," she says.

"Look at that loofus, we're getting a loofus jr," Andrew says.

I chuckle and wipe my tears completely away.

"Thank you," I say.

"Its all for both of you," Natalie says. "We want to at least try to adopt him before the new year comes."

"Wait, how are his foster parents letting you have contact with him," I say.

"After an incident that occurred, Natalie and I immediately went to open a case to adopt him, we are going to a trial in three days," Andrew butts in.

"Can I come," I say excitedly.

"Of course," he says.

I hug them once more and we share our goodbyes before I walk out the door running to Christina's car. As I approach her car, she gets out and I start dancing wildly. She looks at me weird and chuckles a bit.

"Whats up with you," Christina says.

"Christina!! Natalie and Andrew are trying to adopt Caleb!," I scream and laugh.

"Oh my god! Tris, thats amazing!," she says and hugs me.

"We have to celebrate!," she says.

"Wait, Chris, Its not official yet. We still have to go to court," I say. "Hopefully she lets us adopt him."

"By she, do you mean your mom," Chris says in serious tone.

I nod and make my way towards the car. She makes her way towards the drivers side and turns the heater on. My skin starts to regain its color again once my body is warmed up. Christina turns on the radio and surprisingly there are no christmas songs to play for today. Christina drives cautiously, due to the slippery road, and the lumps of snow that appear out of nowhere. The sky is yet again grey, and there are no birds in sight, but this weather is perfect. I flinch when a snowball hits against the window of Christina's car. Outside are some ignorant seniors trying to catch our attention to say stupid things to us. Christina flips them off and they try to act as if they could care less.
