Out Of Control (Chapter.7)

*Wes & Beth In the middle of the night*

While dreaming about me doing everything for my king right and him trusting me over anyone. I started to hear this ringing. I couldn't figure out what it was or where it was coming from. Finally I opened my eyes and realized it was my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I said in my tired voice while looking at the clock that said 3am.

"Hey Wes sorry to wake you up but this really important can we talk for a second?"

"Wait what? Leo?"

"Yeah Wes it's me Leo."

"Damn." I said while getting out of bed and going into the kitchen.

"Are you ready yet?" Leo asked.

"Yeah Leo what's going on? By the way if my sister realizes I've talked to you she will kill me just to let you know."

"I called her like a lot of different times today she didn't answer once i think something is wrong. I need you to go check on her. I would but one I have Lance and two I know I'm the last person she wants to see right now."

"Maybe she's sleeping Leo you know like a normal person at 3:00 am?"

"Wes I'm serious I have a really bad feeling that something is wrong please go check on her."

"Okay okay I'll call you back when I get back damn shut up I'm hanging up now." I did then I put on my Dr.Pepper pajama pants and my Nirvana shirt and lace up Toms. I kissed Beth on the head,grabbed,my keys and phone, then left.

"April?" I knocked and yelled her name. I looked and the door looked like it had been left open. I pushed and it opened. It was pitch black all around me and dead silent. I eased around in the dark listening to see If anyone else was in the house. After a while of pitch black and silence I turned on the living room and kitchen lights. I turned around to see April on the floor.

"April?! Oh my god!" I ran over to her and rolled her over.

She was drenched in blood she had been stabbed and she had passed out due to blood loss. I called the police immediately.

In the meantime of waiting for the police to arrive I did everything in my power to wake her up. But nothing worked I then finally sat next to her and cried.

I took her hand and said "April you are my sister you are the only family I have from growing up. I need you. Lance needs you. Lane needs you too. Don't die on me after everything we've been through. I feel so horrible. I told you I would protect you and never let anything happen to you. Now look at you I failed miserably. I won't be able to live with myself If you die. You have to be okay.You are the only sibling I claim and love. Life won't be the same without you. I know I should have moved here a lot quicker to spend time with you and I didn't. I'm so sorry for that. No matter what happens just know I love you and that I will find the mother fucking ass hole who did this to you. I will then make him or her pay trust me they will regret it." After I finished  that sentence the police came in to the door.

Rushing by me one by one looking like blurs from my tears and their speed. Next the paramedics came in with a stretcher and put April on it and carried her out. The police wanted a statement but I told them I needed to be in the ambulance with April. They told me they would get the statement at the hospital then. I nodded then went and got in to the back of the ambulance. On the way to the hospital the paramedics gave her oxygen and pressed her wrists and neck to see if she still had a pulse. They also wrapped her up to try to stop the constant bleeding. I texted Beth the situation so she wouldn't be worried about me If she woke up. I didn't tell Leo anything. Even though he is her husband they aren't together at this point.No one knows what the situation really is yet either.

Once we reached the hospital they removed her and rushed her in the ER. I ran in behind them and sat in the waiting room. 

April and Lane's lives are at risk right now. It's all my fault I said I would protect them and I didn't obviously. I don't know what to say or do.

"Mr.Beverly? You are April's brother correct?" The voice pulled me out of my terrifying deep thoughts.

"Yes I am do you know anything yet? Is April okay? Is the baby okay? I need to know!"

"Mr.Beverly take a deep breath and sit down. We know some but not all." The doctor stated.

I listened then calmly asked "Well what do you know then?"

"Well to start I'm sorry the baby did not make it. We had to remove him hoping he would live. But as soon as we got him out he stopped breathing. I'm very sorry for your loss sir. Secondly your sister is not stable her condition is unknown it could honestly go either way right now.I'm so sorry Mr.Beverly." The doctor said sympathetically.

I said nothing. I just sat there barely being able to breathe. I couldn't get any words out I felt a sharp pain in my chest." I've failed" are the only words continuing to go through my mind.

"Wes!" Beth screamed.

"Wes!" Leo screamed.

"Beth what are you doing here and why the fuck did you bring him? I didn't tell him for a reason. He will be the last person April wants to see."

"It's not the time for that Wes." Beth said glaring at me.

"Wes what happened? Do they know anything is April okay? Is Lane okay?" Leo asked while freaking out.

I huffed,sat back down, and put my fingers through my hair and kept them there not looking at either of them.

"Here is what we know so far. April was stabbed then she passed out due to the bleeding which is when I found her. Lane was in danger and the only way to save his life was to remove him immediately. When they did he died instantly. April is unstable and they don't know If she will make it or not." I said holding back the tears. I then looked up to see Beth and Leo's jaws dropped and eyes widened. I said nothing and looked back down.

"My son oh my god." Leo said.

"Like you fucking care you left April. You could've been there and prevented this.But no you had to leave. You didn't just leave her you left Lane to so shut the fuck up!" I yelled.

"Wes shut up! That is so so wrong and fucking uncalled for. That was his son." Beth snapped.

"Why don't you shut the fuck up!? I left because she was going crazy and I didn't think it was right for Lance to be around it and I thought we were causing her more stress. I didn't want anything to happen to the baby. Get your facts straight before you fucking start accusing shit you ass hole. Fuck you Wes you said you would protect her forever because she's your sister obviously you didn't do that. So it's your fucking fault not mine!" Leo yelled back.

"Do you want to fucking fight or something? I will it wouldn't be the first..."

"Wes,Leo stop it now! Stop fucking arguing.Lane was your unborn son and our unborn nephew. It is a hard and upsetting time.April's condition isn't even known right now.We need to be focusing on that.Instead of you two dumb asses fucking arguing. That's going to solve nothing and it was no one's fault. So both of you shut the fuck up!" Beth yelled as she interrupted my statement.

We both said nothing and sat down on each side of Beth.
