Moving On (Chapter.17)

*3 Months Later*

"Wes, Beth I have an announcement!" April screamed with excitement.

"What is it Sis?"

"What is it April?"

"Well now that I'm all healed up and my divorce has been final for two months. I have a boyfriend! His name is Scott and he is amazing! He's here now and I want you both to meet him!"

"Wow April." Beth said.

"What?"Wes said with disbelief.

"So Leo guess what?" I said.

"What Wes?" Leo responded.

"April has a boyfriend. She seems pretty in love pretty fast." I said.

"Oh really?" Leo said trying his hardest not to sound interested.

"Yeah. His name is Scott. He's a investment banker. They haven't been together but a few months. But they seem in love. He seems like a nice enough guy. But I'd rather her be with you." I responded.

"Well Wes we are divorced. But her having a boyfriend is information I need to know." Leo said.

"I know you're divorced but you two were great for each other. I still think your divorce was a mistake."

"Well it's finalized. She's moved on and so have I."

"Oh really? You've moved on? With who?" I asked totally not believing him at all. 

"Yes I have moved on. I have a girlfriend. I'm dating Lacey."

"Lacey?!" I said busting out laughing.

"Yes Lacey.What's so funny Wes? She's my girlfriend and we are in love. You're starting to piss me off." 

"You're not in love with Lacey. You've never even taken Lacey out on a date. You barely have conversations with the trash. She's nothing but a whore. She's your whore you use when you're horny seeing as you don't have my sister anymore. That's all she is so stop playing." I said dying of laughter.

"Shut up Wes. Just shut up. Anyway I have to go. I need to talk to April about stuff concerning our son." Leo responded rudely.

"Oh really? What on earth could you need to talk to April about?"

"That's not your business. It's between me and April. "

"Aw Leo don't be all pissed and act like a baby. Just because Lacey is trash and April found someone. It will be okay." I said starting to laugh again.

"Fuck you Wes." Leo said then left. I know he loves me anyway.

*April & Leo*

"So April when were you planning on telling me that some dick is around my son?"

"Excuse me? What the fuck are you talking about Leo? why are you here? Lastly how the hell did you get in my house?" I snapped.

"Well one I'm talking about some boyfriend you apparently now have.  Two I'm here to discuss it. Then three I have a key. You never changed the locks." Leo snapped back.

"Who I'm with or not with is none of your business Leo. You filled for divorce remember? Throw away that key by the way. You need no access to this house and I shouldn't have to change the locks."
