Stressing (Chapter.5)

When I turned around it was just my assistant. But boy I could have sworn it was someone else. Yes I'll admit that I thought it was Dash. Thankfully it wasn't, but it was still frightening. I sat down and started working. I reviewed some files of my singing students. I really just want so write ugly and sings like shit and unteachable on each of them but I can't do that. I am a vocal coach so it's my job to be fake, I mean "nice."

Through out the day I continued to think about Dash. I was on the edge of my seat just waiting and praying he wouldn't actually find Wes or I. I tend to stress until I get sick about everything. But being pregnant this could result in possible dangerous issues with the baby. I need to stop but I just can't I mean the danger that Dash can put on my family is endless. Which is a terrifying thought for me. He could harm Leo or Lance or even Lane and he isn't even born yet. No good could ever come from his presence. 

A knock at my office door happened and it snapped me out of my deep thought of Dash.

"Who is it? The door is locked and I will not open it until you tell me who you are." 

"It's Beth." 

I opened the door and Beth came in and sat down. I shut and locked the door immediately after Beth came in. 

"Hey what's going on?"

"Not much you know working like usual. How about you?"

"No that's not what I mean. You are acting crazy, locking the door, refusing to let people in. That's not you what's going on?

"Honestly I'm just paranoid. I mean Dash could come back at any time. I'm truly scared, I don't know what to do.You and Leo don't understand how he is Wes and I do. He's horrible,so horrible,more horrible then words can ever describe."

"Just breathe April everything will be okay I promise. I get that I don't understand but i mean you have Leo and Wes I'm sure everything will be perfectly fine. You need to calm down remember you have Lane on the way. It's not good for him for you to be stressed." Beth stated with concern.

"Man I feel dizzy I don't know what's wrong." I stated.

"My love here sit down. You need to stop stressing over this Dash thing.If he comes around Wes and I will take care of him I promise. He won't harm us or Lance,trust me he'll regret coming if he decides too. All of this stressing is getting to you I've told you this before. Lane can have severe problems If you keep stressing like this. Promise me you will try to be more calm and breathe oh and not stress as much?" Leo asked.

"I'll try but I can't make any promises. I mean I don't know what's going to happen I just don't. I'm just going to put Lance to bed then I'll shower and go to bed." I said while getting up.

"No. Just shower and go straight to bed. I'll get Lance okay? You need to rest and hopefully feel better. Goodnight I love you I'll see you in the morning." Leo said then he kissed me and walked away.

"Fine. Night love you too." I said with irritation.

I mean just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I'm a ruined girl. I'm still capable of doing everything. I mean I'm just stressing a little bit which is completely normal honestly I don't know why everyone is freaking out.
