"Faked" (A Kamijirou Fanfiction)

Continuation

So, I found some chapters I never released on an old hard drive. Not much, only a few chapters worth before it all got deleted, but it's honest work. I don't even know if anybody is gonna read this but hey, whatever.

Kaminari POV
Kaminari grins mischievously. He puts his hand out for Jirou to hold and she stares at him. “Geez.” Jirou rolls her eyes. “I’m not moving until you tell me.” She huffs at him and Kaminari pouts back. “But it’ll ruin the surprise! You’ll like this place! Honest!” Kaminari tells her, even putting out his pinky finger (fingy) for her to take. “Ugh, fine, just take me away, that’s it, be my knight in shining armor.” Jirou says sarcastically and Kaminari laughs, actually sweeping her up. “Oi- AH?!! Hey! Lemme down!” Jirou tells him, smacking him with her earphone jacks. “Ow! I bet most knights didn’t get their ass beat up by the princess!” Kaminari complains to her. “Well I’m not most princesses, am I?” Jirou huffs at him once he lets her down. “I swear, someone’s gonna think that you’re harassing me some day… mark my words.” Jirou tells him, shaking her head and he laughs. “Oh god I hope not!” He laughs and they continue their walk to the mysterious date place. “And we’re here!” Kaminari exclaims. To make it more dramatic, he places his hands over Kyouka’s eyes and then takes them off to reveal the arcade. “I- phht!” Jirou laughs, and Kaminari looks at her. “He~? What’s wrong?” Kaminari asks her and she giggles. “It’s nothing...oh god… it’s just that you… this seems so much like somewhere where you’d take your date.. it’s unbelieveable how uncanny it is!” Jirou giggles, and Kaminari scratches the back of his neck. “It is, isn’t it!” He says, laughing and They both head in. “I’ll get us some coins with this wonderful 20000¥ bill!” Kaminari tells her and she nods. “Okay!” She answers and she waits for him in the main lobby of the arcade. Kaminari returns soon enough with a bag full of coins. “Yeeeeyy! Let’s goooo!” Kaminari says, grinning and laughing. “Ugh, geez…” Jirou giggles but she follows her idiot of a fake boyfriend over to the machines, rolling her eyes because he being him, is making a scene. “Yoo! Which should we do first??” Kaminari asks, looking excited as ever. “Hmm, how about guitar hero!” Jirou suggests, giggling but Kaminari complains. “Ugh, you’re gonna kick my ass aren’t you!” Kaminari groans, and the girl giggles. “Exactly.” And they go over to the game. “Okay! Let’s do this!” Kaminari grins, slinging the large fake guitar over his shoulder. “Try to keep up!” Jirou giggles. They both place a 100¥ coin into the game and press multiplayer, then competitive. “Which song Kyouka?” Kaminari asks her and Kaminari waits while she ponders a bit about what kind of song she wanted them to jam to together. “I got it, here.” Jirou selects one of the songs.  “Hm? Which one is this?” Kaminari asks her, looking at the song. ‘SAWAGE LIFE’… Sounds familiar. He thinks to himself. “Ever heard of it? It kinda goes… Sawage rife sanatendai! Sunday morning ashita wa koko wa naruu!” Jirou sings the lyrics of the chorus and Kaminari then lightens up. “Oooh! I know that song! It’s one of the ending themes from Meitantei Conan!” Kaminari exclaims and she grins. “Yeah, I really like the voices… Anyways, let’s go!!” She tells him and they start. Kaminari struggles a bit with getting the right fingering but the time that he spent practicing for the cultral festival for Jirou really payed off! Well. It was… for the class too. Jirou is flawless, she watches the screen with a focused, but amused look at gets all the right fingering. Once the song’s over, they show the scores and to nobody’s surprise, Jirou beat his ass, as usual. “Hehe! Who’s turn is it to taste defeat now BlunderVolt!” Jirou giggles, poking him with her jack. “Okay! You made your point!” Kaminari huffs at her but he secretly felt good that Jirou is smiling so much at him. “So? What’s the next game then?” Kaminari asks her, taking the fake guitar controller off his shoulder and back on the rack. Kaminari wants Jirou to have a fun time with him, so he tries to make the day revolve around her today. Not for any particular reason, just because it might make her feel better about the person she is, and that person she hides. Jirou walks over to Dance Dance Revolution. “Hey Denki! Want to try to get this?”Jirou asks him and she pulls him over. “Ah? I’m not that good though…” Kaminari says hastily, he isn’t the best dancer, but he’s gotten some tricks from Mina to know the basics. “Let’s do it anyways!” Jirou giggles, and they set their bags down and get on the large console. “Select a song Kaminari!” She tells him with a grin. “Your turn!” and Kaminari smiles. “Yes! Let’s go with this one!” Kaminari says, grinning, hoping that she knows the song too.

Jirou POV
Jirou is having the time of her life on this fake date with Kaminari, it’s all so much fun. They dance together to the tune that Kaminari chose. Jirou didn’t care if she got the wrong steps, even if she did, since she isn’t really paying attention to what she’s doing and more rather than the beat of the music and the boy beside her, Denki Kaminari. “Tanoshimi sa, uwaau uwaau it’s a beautiful life! Senpasen Tanoshimisa uwaau uwaau you have a beautiful smile!” Jirou and Kaminari both sing, Kaminari being louder than Jirou since Jirou’s confidence isn’t as high, but when they both complete the song, gasping and panting, a 100%  appears on the screen meaning they managed to perfectly complete the song. “Yeah!!” Kaminari exclaims, and they share a high five but suddenly hear applause behind them. “Ara?” Kaminari asks and they look behind them to see a small group of people huddled around the arcade game. “He~?” Jirou asks and then a junior high goes up to Jirou beaming. “That was so cool miss! You were so in synch!” She squeals and Jirou flusters. “Um…” Jirou stammers, unsure how to react. A hetero high school couple goes up to them. “That was supes cool!” The girl tells her and Jirou stammers, “Um, thanks?” “Oi! You guys are hella in synch man!” the guy tells Kaminari who smiles awkwardly. “Um! Thanks!” He answers and the couple walk away. Jirou’s face is aflame and she turns away from Kaminari. Jirou instead looks at the small crown huddled around them and feels her brain telling her to make a run for it. Jirou grabs Kaminari’s hand and walks away from the crowd, dragging him along.  “Ah, I can finally breathe…” Jirou sighs, once they were away from other people that were watching them. “I don’ think I’ll ever be able to last with the popularity of a pro hero…” Jirou sighs and Kaminari laughs. “As long as it’s the ladies, I’m not complaining! I mean, no girl can resist my charms!” Kaminari jokes and Jirou scoffs. “Better hope for a Pikachu then.” She snickers and Kaminari complains. “Hey! At least be nicer on a date!” He tells her and she sticks out her tongue. “This IS my nice.” She giggles and he just pats her on the head. “Anyways, what do you want to do next?” Kaminari asks her, and she tugs him towards the Don-chan drumming machine. “No need for question!! let’s go!!” Jirou grins and Kaminari laughs. “Bet Bakugou would be good at this game!” Kaminari states and Jirou shrugs. “Or he’d blow up the machine…” Jirou adds in, giggling afterwards. Kaminari laughs and they put money in the Drumming game’s system. “Which do you want to play?” She asks him.

Kaminari POV
when Kaminari was a kid, he played the Don-chan but only to one tune. The Meitantei Conan Theme. “Geez, what is with today and anime themes…?” Jirou asks him, giggling a bit. Kaminari shrugs. “I mean, anime themes and openings are always catchy, so we might as well!” Kaminari grins and Jirou giggles. “Shut up and play.” She tells him, and Kaminari hits the large drum in front of them and select hard. “Ah? I’m not that good though!!” Jirou exclaims, but the game already started. “Just go with the rhythm! You’re the musician of the class!” Kaminari tells her and they begin drumming. Kaminari drums along to the melody, occassionally missing, but he feels something else is drumming. His heart beats fast, but not in rhythm with the game because that’d be creepy and weird, but his heart feels odd, perhaps it’s just the excitement? He shakes it off and puts his focus in the game. The familiar tune of the jazzy saxaphone (lessons, if you get this, give me a Bijuu Mike high-five) and he looks over at Jirou, who is so focused on the game but she’s smiling so widely that Kaminari couldn’t help but try harder to make her have a good time and he gives the game his all. “TOMARE~!” The voice of Don-chan says from the arcade machine, indicating the song is over. “Fuuwah~!” Jirou sighs, putting the drumsticks down. “That was fast…” and Kaminari laughs. “But you did really good!” Kaminari compliments her and she gives him a small smile before turning back to the machine.
