Jirou POV
Jirou sees her father at the door, “Kyou? I didn't think you were coming! Oh! This must be your boyfriend!” Kyoutoku Jirou exclaims, wrapping his arms around his daughter Jirou's face flushes with more unnecessary embarrassment, Jirou peeks a look at Kaminai, who was awkwardly smiling at her, perhaps this was a look of pity… Jirou thought to herself and “Wow, it seems like Kyouka chose well! You seem like the kind who likes just the right kind of music! Who might you be?” Her father asks Kaminari, releasing Jirou from the hug, “Ah, I'm” Kaminari was about to introduce himself, “Ah, I was just kidding, you're Denki Kaminari! Kyou's talked about you before! Ah! What Kinda host are we being right now? C’mon!” Kyoutoku asks, he puts his arm around Kaminari, “No really pops we were just gonna stop by an-” Jirou tries to tell her father, but he just laughs “ Ah, Nonsense, we must make your boy feel welcome!”
Kaminari POV
Kaminari feels an arm draped on his shoulder, “I know that he and I are going to get along rockin!” KAminari freezes up, nervous and confused, takes a glance at Jirou, who was looking simply mortified by her father’s actions, she was looking frantic and she meets his gaze, Kaminari tries to give her a sympathetic smile, but she didn't take it so well. “Ugh, I-I-I’m just going to go grab my stuff!!!” Jirou blurts out, before rushing into the house and upstairs, not looking back, leaving Kaminari with the other Jirous in the family. “I’ll go make some tea and snacks!” Mika smiles softly at Kaminari before heading in, looking quite excited, “No really, you don’t ha-”Kaminari tries to tell her, “Nonsense! Only the best for our little Kyou’s boy!” She grins, Kaminari didn't have the heart to tell her not to when she looked so delighted to meet him and she proceeds to the kitchen, “So, let’s have a chat! I want to get to know Kyou’s Boy!” Kyoutoku tells him, Kaminari recalls the time he called her Kyou(first chapter reference) and when he did right before they entered, she didn’t like it both times, Maybe it’s because that’s a nickname only reserved for her family…? Kaminari thought to himself. That was actually very cute, a small connection to her family. He decides not to try to call her that again if the name was that special to her. But once he gets out of his thoughts, he found himself getting led into the house by Kyoutoku, he closes the door behind them and Mika comes over with hot tea and biscuits, which he thanks her (“Anything for Kyou’s boy! And plus, this is quite the special event!”) Mika Jirou's smile reminded him of Jirou's when she talked about music, shy, but still big. But even so, Kaminari starts wondering to himself what he just got Jirou to pull him into and how his name went from Denki Kaminari to ‘Kyou’s boy’ in a matter of 5 minutes.
Jirou POV
Jirou never felt so embarrassed by her parents, she knew this was coming, and she did love them, but they were being a bit… Jirou couldn’t quite place her finger on the word that she was looking for. She grumbles and looks around her old room, most of her stuff was back at the dorms but she still has a few things here that she didn’t bring over when they were unpacking for their new dorm rooms, she looks over at her shelf and moves over a whole bunch of music books she left since it was too much and sees some of her old Shoujou manga were still there just collecting dust from the previous year it was there, she sighs, grabbing a bag that was conveniently placed in her room and places the books in it, she needed to make sure Kaminari didn’t see them so she made sure that they weren’t visible, as a junior high, she bought them with her money and read them and collected them, they came out monthly, and they were pretty cheap and Jirou did enjoy reading them but since it'll cause way too much surprise to to her usual emo demeanor, she never mentioned it to anybody, well, except 2 people she trusted very dearly in the class.
