"Are you ready to go?" I hear Scarlett call out and I run my hands down my figure.

Tonight we are supposed to be dressed slutty- it's a party, and I feel like I have gone all out. I have changed out of the dress I was wearing today into a black low cut and lacey dress, it stops mid-thigh which I have paired with some bright orange pumps.

I have also paired this with a winged liner and a full face of makeup. Scarlett is wearing a neon pink mini dress and has one neon pink eyeliner. Mum offered to look after Violet tonight so we are heading out the house baby free.

"There is someone at the door" my mum calls and Scarlett jumps. Noah, the cute guy from my birthday dinner, is joining us at the party tonight.

We head down the stairs and Scarlett jumps into his arms and begins to passionately kiss him. I turn away and hand Violet to my mum and cover her eyes and we giggle. Their relationship has progressed nicely. When she breaks away she turns to me and I laugh at her

"Mama Kat, this is Noah '' she says and Noah awkwardly shakes my mother's hand and says hello.

I run through everything that Violet needs and her schedule and we head out of the door. I grab my keys and I end up driving to the party whilst Noah and Scarlett talk- mostly makeout in the backseat.

We get to Max, Chloe's boyfriend's house in no time since he is hosting the party and we walk in.

Chloe runs to the door and hugs us immediately, she looks stunning in a gold dress, and gold heels. She pulls us in and immediately everyone turns to us

"Hey Tori is here" I hear when I walk in the door

"Hey hey!!" I then hear and everyone comes over to hug me and I smile, I haven't seen these guys since I graduated

"I have not seen you since you left, how is your little critter?" Liam says and he puts an arm around me and hugs me

"She is great," I say and a drink is thrust into my hands and I am dragged into the party. I see Scarlett and she is with Noah, and she is introducing him to everyone.

"How have you been Tori?" Angela a girl from my year says

"Good" I reply and we head into the living room, where my old friendship group is. They start cheering when they see me and I laugh.

Once everyone has gotten a drink into their system we turn the music up and begin to dance. I spot Grayson and Jax walk in at some point and I am confused, but realise that before they left high school we were a part of their group.

"Hey baby sis," Grayson says and I hear Jax say hello to

"Hey Gray, Jax," I say and nod. I go back to the group and they head off to get another drink. I don't see Ellie again, and I'm told that she wanted to come to the party but ended up staying later in the city with her friends

Everyone that would have been in my senior year is here tonight.

We dance for hours it seems and everyone continues to drink whilst I only have one more. After the heat of the party ends we end up in Max's entertainment room around the fire

"Lets play truth or dare" Max says

"Nooo" Chloe replies

"We aren't 5" Angela then says

"Guys when are we going to ever be able to play a silly game again?" Liam says and the room is silent "See never"

"Okay" I say and we begin, truths and dares are passed around the room, until we get to Angela

"Angie-truth or dare?"

"Truth" she says

"Biggest shock of the year"

"That'll be interesting" Scarlett says and I giggle

"Max actually getting an A in Geography" she replies and everyone boos

"Does someone want to rebuff that?" Liam yells and she puts her hands up in defeat

"I think that the biggest shock this year is Tori getting knocked up by Shep" I hear Jake call out and I feel time stop, I look up and my smile falls.

I then see everyone's gaze shift and I whip around to where everyone has gone silent. I see Jax and Grayson in the doorway having just walked into the room. I whip back around again and Scarlett is in my face, and I stand up trembling.

"I've...I've got to go- go, yeah now," I say and I turn to see Jax and Grayson moving towards me

"No, hey," Scarlett says and she grabs my arm but I pull through and I run to the door and I run out of the house. I start breathing heavy, my chest rising and falling rapidly.

I unlock my car and I am grateful that I had the car keys tonight. I put it in reverse and I see Jax run out the door and I pull. I can't even think, I cannot believe this is happening.

I drive around the neighbourhood and I have no idea where to go. My parents are at home and they have Violet so I know I cannot go there. But I realise, Jane and Julian still have their beach house.

Jax used to take me there on Fridays after school and we would spend the weekend together at the beach. Jane told me that if I ever needed time away with Violet I could go there so I have a key.

I drive there and I pull into the driveway.

My phone glows again and my screen lights up. I have a dozen missed calls from Scarlett. A dozen from Grayson. I even have calls from Finn and Alex. Lastly, I see that both my parents and both Jane and Julian have also called me.

I message my mum and Jane back. I write the 2 words that I thought I never would.

- He knows.

This is all I say, and I then get another incoming call from Scarlett which I decide to answer.

"Hey" I muster

"Where the hell are you?" she screams

"I'm at the beach house, I am safe," I say and I hear her sigh in relief

"I'm coming to get you," she says

"No, It's fine- stay at the party, can you look after Violet tonight, I'll be back in the morning" I reply

"Yes, of course," she says and I then sigh

"Thank you Scarlett"

"It's okay. I'm sorry" she says

"It's not your fault" I reply

"I know, but I also know that this is not how you wanted him to find out" she replies and we hang up the phone.

I grab my keys and I walk up to the front door. I open the door and walk in, I turn all of the lights on and work to turn the heater on since it is freezing inside.

I grab a glass of water and I stand in front of the sink with my head in my hands. My head is spinning. I cannot believe what is happening. I don't know what I am going to say when I see Jax.

This is not the way that I wanted him to find out. Yes, I did not know when or how I was going to tell him but this seems 100 more times worse.

I start feeling dizzy and I think I'm going to be sick. I feel my lunch and dinner, coupled with a couple of the drinks that I have had tonight rise through my esophagus and I vomit in the sink.

I empty the contents of my stomach and I wipe my mouth, but I do not feel any better. I have no idea what I am going to do. I make my way into the living room and sit on the couch and I feel tears well into my eyes.

I feel these tears fall down my face and I start sobbing. I put my head in my hands again, cradling myself. I stay like this, rocking back and forth until I hear the door swing open, and someone enters the house.

I look up and I watch the door swing open and it is Jax.
