~ PROLOGUE 05 ~

ONCE I FINALLY muster up the courage, I try to wipe the mascara from under my eyes and I knock on the door and Chloe opens the door.
"Hey, Tori! I haven't seen y-" she starts "Is everything okay"
"Yeah, is your mum home?" I ask
"She's in the kitchen," she says and she opens the door so I can come in, I walk straight into the Kitchen and Jane is at the sink peeling potatoes
"Hello Victoria, what a surprise," she says looking up but my face is down, I look up at her and she notices my red eyes, puffy cheeks, and the mascara I probably have running down my face/
"Oh no is everything okay?" she says and I look at her, and I pause
"Jane, I'm pregnant" I reply and her face falls
"Are you sure?" she says
"Yes, I took a test and it's positive" I reply and she smiles warmly at me
"Okay... I don't want to sound rude but are you sure the baby is Jacksons?" she asks
"100%" I reply "He's the only one I've been with," I say
"Okay then, tell Scarlett to come inside and we can talk," she says and I dryly laugh sending a text to Scarlett telling her it's okay to come in
"Thank you," I say and Jane smiles at me
Jane fills up the kettle and puts it on the stove heating the water up whilst Scarlett comes into the kitchen and before long I have a steaming mug of tea wrapped in my hands and I'm sitting at the table, Scarlett next to me eating the cookies that Jane placed in front of us. Jane sits down opposite Scarlett and I and we sit in some sort of silence.
"Alright, what are you going to do about him" Jane says next
"I don't want Jax to know," I say back to her
"Are you sure?" both Scarlett and Jane say
"Yes, I don't want him to know"
