~Third person Pov-

Rin stood shocked, his fingers rapidly tapping against his hip and his lips quivered constantly. Every time Rin tried to bend over and grab ahold of Haru, Sousuke took his hand and shook his head. Joe wasn't around this time to help Haru and make everything better. His best friend is practically out cold and he couldn't do anything. " I'm a horrible friend" Rin mumbled, taking his hand away from his friend. Sousuke sighed and whacked Rin's head " grab ahold of yourself, I've got a friend around here who can help him". Rin whimpered and held his head, for some unknown reason his head was hurting more then usual. Sousuke hit was nothing bad, but he must of touched a sensitive part. " please don't whack me again" Rin mumbled while walking off. Sousuke stood shocked and confused but followed soon after, but quickly running back to pick up Haru in his arms bridal style.

Rin's mind was yelling to give up and surrender on everything. Continuously repeating the same message " Life isn't always about living, it's about being happy, not being terrified of yourself". At that moment Rin wanted to just hold onto Haru, nuzzle his face and just say " everything is going to be alright". Sadly Haru was a long way from being alright. Saying that he was okay would be a massive lie, because it wasn't true. Happiness shouldn't be forced and Rin wasn't happy. However he wasn't fully aware of Haru's dark thoughts that took over his life. Was everyone just oblivious to emotions or did Haru just hide them too well. Rin just wanted everything to be okay, he just wanted Haru to be safe and sound. Without a care in the world and without the thought of judgement or sadness. That was far from reach, realistically Haru is breaking and Rin is going insane. They needed each other, Rin knew this but not fully. Haru was oblivious to it all. He just doesn't like relying on people to support him, he might be slightly too independent.

Whatever happened to those days where racing and friends were everything. Adulthood is meant to be fun and joyous, partying and drinking or even getting laid but no. The times of adulthood were only bringing pain and sadness. Maybe it's that age where we realise, people's true feelings and what goes on inside their mind.

<Time Skip>

" Sousuke are you sure about this?" Rin asked kinda breathlessly and unevenly. The taller man placed his free hand on the shorter boys shoulder. " I'm positive". The touch was gentle but not like Haru's touch. Haru was all that was on Rin's mind, fragile and oblivious Haru.

~Rin~

The door of Sousuke's friends house was a plain white wood with splinters surging out of it. They should get that fixed before someone gets hurt. I shrugged it off and knocked on it pretty hard. Once I finished the pattern of the knocking a short blonde child girl opened it. " Erm hi do I k-know...wait I know him" the girl pointed towards Sousuke " him?" I ask pointing to the taller boy. She shook her head and mumbled " boy with ocean blue eyes that is fighting his own monsters". A boy fighting his own monster? A boy with ocean blue eyes?Haru. The girl patted down her cherry red dress and blew a loose strand of hair off her face.
She calmly walked over and rubbed Haru's calve. Her eyes were prickled with tears, " come inside Sousuke and his friend, my granny will take a look at him". We both nodded and followed the little blonde girl indoors " what's your name?" I mumbled she turned around and pointed at some roses, I nodded knowing her name must be Rose. We walked into a old room, containing only a bed, and a table with bottles and pills.
