There he was, standing with a slouch and a crooked smile. Each time I blinked his smirk would get bigger and bigger; till it was so large his smile was from ear to ear. I was on edge from how close the man was, so I reported it. " Hey Coach, There is a random man standing over there in that corner, just staring at me!" Coach looked at me and shook his head. " Haru, stop wasting time, there is no man standing anywhere, except for me and some students on a break". What was coach saying? The man was right there; maybe he's going blind like most of the coaches. Ignoring the fact that coach couldn't see him, I decided it's best just to keep training and ignore the man. So I pushed off the wall and streamlined 15m from the wall, leaving 35m left. The pool was 50m and the water was dark blue with hints of a faded grey. I started to wonder how Rin is copying since that long night of bonding. Hopefully, he has forgiven me. As for me, I'm coping with it pretty well if I do say so myself. However, deep down I feel like our moment needed something more. Is it strange I felt like kissing Rin? I'm not gay so I was probably feeling overly tired.

Under the water, I could see everything and everyone. The pattern of kicking each individual produced and how they glide in the water, so freely. One day I'll be truly free, with the sun setting behind me and holding my loves hand. That sounds perfect.

Before couch noticed, I started swimming again. Quickly increasing my speed each 50. By the end, I was going at 85% and decided that was enough.
Did Rin do more laps?
I've gotta stay fit and not get distracted so much.
I'm starting to get fat around my stomach...maybe I'll train again tonight. I'll have to sneak into here tonight without couch seeing me.
That's my plan for tonight.
