Time froze, I froze, everything froze.
"I love you Rin"
Haru stood staring at me; allowing the words process into my mind. I've been waiting for this moment since we were little. Since the first time Haru and I hung out. Those were the days where happiness and friend were all that mattered.

~Past~
"Rin, we're going to be late" young Haru squealed with a little giggle. The two of us ran, we ran so in sync that we began to forget about the world around us. Haru being a very slow runner, caused me to have to slow myself down to a steady pace. It was Spring, the time of year when the cherry blossoms, bloom with vibrate pinks and whites. The beautiful trees having always been calming and understanding in some way or another. As kids, the world was a glorious place to explore with endless possibilities. Life was easy; everything was easy. Two free boys in the dark world of adulthood soon to come. Day by day I grew deeper and deeper in love with my best friend. We had the chance, but I blew it.

"What do you mean your moving?"
My best friend spoke trying to hold back hot tears of anger and sadness.
"I mean, I'm moving, nothing to it Haru"
I replied trying to prevent my own tears and trying to keep a courageous face.
"No, you made a promise, we made this childish promise together! You can't leave now" Haru yelled finally giving into the tears brimming his ocean blue eyes.
" Childish! It was a childish promise! So what? So fücking what? I have a dream, why can't you just be happy for me?"
Young Rin yelled, soon realise what he'd said and bit his tongue.
" moving to Australia? That was your dad's dream!! Not your dream! We created a dream together, to be on the Japanese team and compete together in the Olympics! We wanted to swim together!"
Haru now furiously yelling and wiping his fast streaming tears away.
"That dream we created is büłlshįt and you know it Haru!"
The words hit young Haru hard, creating the stabbing feeling in his chest.
"Please don't leave"
Haru now pulling Rin back.
"Let go Haru, you know it's for the best"
Rin said softly.
"Please...don't go Rin"
Haru pleaded.
"Goodbye Haru"
Rin threw his hand away from Haru's grasp and watched as Haru tried to reach back out. However, Rin wouldn't let him.
"Goodbye"
