Chapter 9

Amelias POV

"do you have to go?" Arizona ask me after our movie

"I do, I need to get home to Ellie, but I will see you tomorrow at work" I smile and she nods as I give her one last kiss,

"One more" she chuckles and I lean in once again. Now the last kiss

"I'll see you tomorrow?" I ask throwing my dress over my arm, still in the clothes Arizona had given me

"You'll see me tomorrow" she smiles and I walk out of her house and head back to mine

When I got home the house was quiet and Lena was on the couch reading a book

"Hey" I smile

"Hi!" She says and gets up and walks over to me

"Good night?" She chuckles at my change of clothes

"Yea, watched a movie and the dress wouldn't have been comfortable " I laugh and she smiles

"Well Ellie is a fantastic kid, I really had no troubles." She says and I smile

"Thank you!" I say and dig around my purse for the money I had kept out for Lena

"Thank you, and Call if you ever need a sitter again" she said and I thank her as she leaves and went to check on Ellie,

I walked into her room and there was a small light coming from under her covers

"Eleanor" I say making myself known and the light quickly shut off so I went to fair on her bed

"Ellie" I say again pulling the blanket off her head

"Mommy I was sleeping" she says and fake yawns,

"Oh I bet you were" I say and with my hand out and she gives me her IPad

"Why are you up so late?" I ask

"I wanted to see you" she replies

"Where did you go? Lena said you went out with a friend. Last time you said that and it wasn't Aunt Addie or Charlotte it was with James but we haven't seen James in a while" she says and I sigh

James was my fiancé? I don't really know what we were. I had way too much on my shoulders at the time. He wanted something with me and he wanted to settle down. Not saying that I don't want too. I do. But it didn't feel right with him

"Well, tonight mommy went with a special friend. Kind of like James but not quite. The friend I went with tonight was a girl. Remember Arizona?" I ask and she nods

"I went to dinner with Arizona and then we went to her home to watch a movie" I tell her

"Just like friends?" She ask

"Yes like friends," I reply and she smiles

"Good because I didn't like James" she says seriously and I laugh

"You liked James" I say calling out my daughter

"No because he ate all my tiny oranges" she says and I shake my head

"We'll talk more tomorrow but for now it's time for bed" I say and she nods and gets back under the covers

"Goodnight Elenor" I say and kiss her head

"Good night mommy" she says and I walk to her door and leave her iPad on her dresser

"Hey mommy?" She says just as I was about to close the door

"Yes Ellie?" I ask

"When we talk more tomorrow can we talk about daddy too?"

Arizona's POV

I really had a good time with Amelia tonight. We laughed throughout most of the movie, spent the time talking and getting to know each other instead: we talked about getting together with the girls one day this week coming up so they could get to know each other. We both have off on Tuesday which is when we plan to do it. They are going to come over here and just let the girls play for a while.

This would be my first "real" relationship since Callie. If things work out the way I want them too. I seen a girl named Eliza for a while but it was mainly just sex and only really lasted like a month. I think I want more for us. I mean who knows? And this way Sofia would be getting a little sister in the process.

It was getting late now though. It's about 11:30. I had to be at work at noon tomorrow so I could sleep in a little later than what I would usually have to do. I went ahead and took my shower. I had shaved the night before. Just in case. So my shower tonight was relatively quick. At first I wasn't planning on Washing my hair but then decided on it because of all the hairspray I had put it in.

After my shower I didn't even bother getting anything but a shirt out. I dried off and got my shirt on then wrapped my hair in a towel while I picked up some trash laying around the house.

Once I was done I took the towel off and hung it up in the bathroom before crawling into my bed.

Is it too early to be thinking of a life with Amelia? I have to do what's in the best interest for Sofia first. She is my first priority and anything I do relationship wise always affects her and I would rather it be for the better good. She also has Ellie to think about.

Deciding to stop running scenarios in my mind I went ahead and turned the lamp off next to my bed.

I guess we will see what the girls think of each other on Tuesday. I guess I will talk to Sofia on Sunday when she gets back home from Marks
