Chapter 24

Amelias POV

After Ellie fell asleep I shut her bedroom door and walked down to Arizona who was in the living room with a glass of wine, looking at her questionably  for a second and turning away

"It's sparkling juice" she tells me and I let out a sigh of relief and smile

"I'm sorry" I say and she stands up and comes over to me holding me close to her after putting the glass down

"I don't want you to apologize for not wanting to drink, I respect that and I always willl" she smiles and I give her a kiss, she puts her hands on my waist, pulling me deeper into the kiss and bites my lip slightly as we pull away

"Thank you for everything" I tell her and she smiles and gets two glasses and her sparkling juice and leads us to the living room where she sits down and I sit next to her, laying my legs across her lap

"I have something to tell you" she says nervously, running her hand up and down my legs

"Yea?" I ask drinking the sparkling juice

"I don't want you to freak out" she says and pulls my arms so that I'm positions facing her a little more

"I know it's been only a few months but, everytime i see you I get these flutters in my stomach, the feeling of love and need, and want. The wanting you next to me. I love you Amelia Shepherd," she says and I smile and kiss her lips but pull away quickly

She doesn't know about Ryan, or the drugs and once she finds out that can change her entire view on me, who wants to date an addict?

Arizona's POV

After I told Amelia I loved her she smiles but then looks scared, and tried to pull completely away

"Hey, talk to me" I say softly and she bites her lip

"I'm an addict, Arizona" she blurts out and I look at her confused, addict? Has she been getting high this entire time and I haven't noticed

"What?" I ask and she looks up and back down at me

"Im 10 years clean. Since I got pregnant. I don't drink or do anything else but it's still a part of me. And I need you to know that before you commit to loving me" she Says and I think about what she said and smile

"Amelia I love you, I love you for you. You have a past, we all do. And I don't judge you for that. I'm so so proud of you for getting this far. So proud." I tell her and I could see the tears well up in her eyes and she leans forward in an awkward position so that I could embrace her in a hug

"Thank you for telling me, it doesn't change how I feel about you" I smile

"I love you " she smiles but I could see some hesitation in her eyes

"But?"

"But I'm scared of loving you, I'm scared of loving. I ruin everything good in my life and I don't want to ruin this. I love you, I love the way you are with Ellie and I love that I can tell you everything. But I don't want you to run" she says and I grab her hands and rub my thumb over the back of them

"I'm not going anywhere. Ever. I promise" I smile and kiss her again, only this time she embraces it more and climbs into my lap and out her hands behind my head tangling them in my hair

"I love you" she smiles and kisses me passionately, sweeping her tongue on my bottom lip, flipping her hair to one side to keep it out of her face as she was kissing my jaw line

We sit in that position, Amelia kissing me passionately and she starts to grind her hips against me, and I move my hands down to her ass

"Not out here" I tell her, the last thing we would need is Ellie coming out while we were in the middle of having sex

"Bedroom" she nods and I pick her up, her legs instantly wrapping around my waist and take her to her bedroom locking the door behind me

I took us over to her bed and we fell on it together

"I love you" I say into her ear and lightly bite down on it eliciting a moan to escape

Amelia and I lay out of breath on her bed, she was laying her head on my bare chest, dancing her fingers in between my boobs

My chest raising and falling heavily along With hers

"Do you want to shower or just go to bed" I ask

"Shower, but not yet, I like just laying like this" she says and I smile and kiss the top of her head

"Okay," I say and a look over at the clock that it's almost midnight, she has to get up early with Ellie but I really enjoy this quiet time together. We'll just be tired in the morning

We remained quiet for a while, her tracing patterns in between my breast and I doing the same on her back,

Eventually we got up and showered, doing it quick so we could get back in bed

I threw on a t-shirt and Amelia got in to bed naked, she doesn't sleep with clothes on. Says she is more comfortable and I won't complain,

We got In to bed and the only light in the room was the lamp next to her bedside

"What time are we waking up?" I ask her, laying next to her in bed, both of us facing each other

"You don't have to get up" she says and I smile

"I do, what time are we setting the alarm?" I chuckle

"6, so I can't get Ellie up by 6:30" she says and I nod

"Well we have almost 6 hours" I say and she laughs

"We can go to bed after I take her to school" she says and I yawn

"Sound amazing" I say and she reaches over and reaches over and cuts the light out

I can totally imagine this, school nights, both kids in bed. Amelia and I in bed. The next morning we get up and make and eat breakfast to eat together as a family.

Amelia snores, she denies it but she does. Not very loudly but it totally gives away if she is asleep.

The light snoring from beside me told me that my girlfriend was now asleep,

I made sure my phone alarm was set as well just in case hers didn't go off or even is she didn't set it. I didn't see her do it so it must have been earlier if she didn't forget

I kissed the top of her head, placed my phone on the end table and got comfortable under the covers

"I love you"
