Amelias POV

Addison was having all of our friends over today for a dinner, we are making the guys go tend to the grill and then the women can just talk about some drama while the kids play,

I also told Ellie we would go to the water today, I told her after lunch since it would warm up a little.

Ellie and I ended up falling asleep around 11 that night and I was hoping she wouldn't wake up early.

That night I dreamt about Arizona and our life together I dreamt that I told her I loved her and she said it back, we then got married and the girls became the best of friends, we were happy. We were as happy as can be. I truly wish this was real.

In the morning I could sense that Ellie was waking up and she started moving around in the bed, I opened my eyes carefully and the clock only read 8am,

"Ellie if you're awake go downstairs with Addie" I tell her knowing that Addison is a morning riser and would be up with Henry,

I could feel her get out of bed slowly and she opened the door an left,

I rolled back over in bed trying to get a little more shut eye,

I woke up a little later and and realized it was just after 9 am now, sighing and forgetting about getting sleep, I picked up my phone to see if I had any missed messages And one from Arizona made me smile

Arizona: Hey Ames, I hope you and Ellie are enjoying L.A! I can not wait to see you, make sure to send me your outfit when you go to the beach

I chuckled at her last comment and playfully rolled my eyes, she would definitely be getting a picture later

Amelia: Hi baby, I miss you already, and don't worry, you will get that picture

I got out of bed and walked downstairs and the kids were at the table eating while Addison was drinking coffee

"About time for you to show up" she smirks and I roll my eyes

"And what's got you smiling like this so early?" She ask and Ellie smiles

"Her  girlfriend" she teases

"Oh I know" Addison replies to her

"What did she say?" Addison ask

"That she hopes Ellie and I are having a good time" I tell her and she shakes her head

"That's not all she said" she mumbles

"Addison my 9 year old daughter is sitting right there. That's all she said" I say and we both start laughing And Ellie looks over at us

"Whats so funny?" Ellie ask and I shake my head

"Nothing Elle," I tell her and she shrugs and goes back to her breakfast

The rest of the morning went by pretty smoothly, the kids played and ate lunch and then he was time for us to take them down to the water

Ellie got changed into her suit and went downstairs to wait on Addison and Henry while I got dressed,

I put on my yellow bikini, the one Arizona loves and quickly took a picture to send to her, I then put on a bathing suit cover to walk down to the water,

When I got down there Addison was already sitting on a towel with the kids playing in the shallow water

"Sending pictures to your girlfriend?" She ask and I blush, not able to stop it

"I knew it! Amelia you dirty girl" she says and I roll my eyes

"I had clothes on..... for most of them" I say and she we laugh as I sit down next to her

"I'm glad you have her, she makes you happy and it's really good to see you happy" she smiles,

"I love her Addie, I do." I smile,

"Tell her not me" she says

"I will, when we get back" I say sure of myself

"I know you will" she says and puts a reassuring hand on my arm

"Mommy! Come in" Ellie yells and I chuckle And stand up

"Have fun" Addison says and puts on a pair of sunglasses

"Oh you're coming too" I say and take her hand and drag her towards the ocean

We stayed down by the water for hours, the kids played in the sand and built sand castles, Addison and I relaxed in the sun a little,

Then it was time for us to head back to the house to shower and get all the salt water out of our hair and get dressed before everyone showed up

The kids were tired so getting them from the water wasn't hard at all, I let Ellie shower first while I picked out her clothes for the evening and once she got out I got in,

Around 5 is when everyone started to show up, and I love everyone don't get me wrong but Addison and Charlotte are special, they both helped me more than anyone in my hardest time

When Charlotte arrived I ran over to her and embraced her in a hug, this girl means so much to me, Ellie's name was almost Charlotte Addison, cliche i know, but remembered when Ryan and I talked about our family and he said that he wanted our girl to be named Eleanor after his grandmother who raised him and I loved the name, and to honor Ryan more I had no problem with it being Eleanor instead.

"I missed you so much" I say and pull back from her

"I missed you too Shepherd" she smiles And I notice three little girls standing next to her,

"Hi Melia" Georgia says, sometimes it's so difficult to tell them apart but then others it's easy

"Hi girls," I smile

Once the food was done we set some tables up outside and we all sat around them, Ellie was having fun with her cousins and I love seeing her smile and laugh,

After dinner the men went inside with the kids and the women stayed outside talking

"Amelia was sending dirty pictures to her girlfriend earlier" Addison says and I hit her arm

"Amelia Shepherd" Charlotte gasp and I turn away not able to hide the blush creeping up on my face

"I am a grown women, if I want to send pictures to my insanely hot girlfriend I will" I say and they laugh

"I set my first date with my husband up on a sex sight" Charlotte says and laughs

"You guys have to meet her, she is gorgeous and kind and makes me feel all weird in my stomach" I say rambling

"Amelias in love" Charlotte says and I smile, I really am,

The rest of the evening we talked more about things that were happening in our life and the kids and it was time for everyone to go home,

I was exhausted and so was Ellie, Addison took Henry to bed and then her and Jake went to sleep and so did Ellie and I,

I love it here with my family but I miss Arizona, next time we make a trip down here she is going to have to come

Till next time ❤️
