Lock up

The time passes and I became more and more drunk.
"So Anna." Nia asks
"Yeah?" I slobber
"So I just thought you should know that Harry and I kissed." Nia giggles. I stop dancing and glare into her eyes
"When?" I scream
"Before he left for Bali." Nia stops dancing to.
"Wait what?! Who made the move?!?" I scream.
"Me obviously. Harry would never." Nia slobbers as well (just saying she's as drunk as me if not more)
I storm off.
My emotions build up inside me I feel myself starting to tear and my face becoming hot and red. I'm pissed off big time.
I needed a way to get back at her. then I remember. Her car! I pick up a rock and without thinking I trow it in the window, and continue to brake all the windows with other rocks.
"Take that." I slam my foot into the car. I do this more and more until...
"FREEZE!" A voice screams from behind a bush. I stop what I'm doing and put my hands in the air.
"You have the right to remain silent!" He screams as he walks in closer and yanks my hands behind my back and snips the handcuffs shut. Next thing I know I'm in jail.
"Anna?" I hear
"Mum?" I question
"Anna come on" she says as a police officer unlocks my cage. I hurry out and power walk to catch up with my mum.
it's silent all the way home so I know I'm in for it when we get inside.
I begging to walk upstairs but my mum stops me dead in my tracks.
"Anna Brooke! Where do you think you're going?!" She screams
"Upstairs to shower." I whisper
"Oh no you're not get back down here and explain yourself!" She storms off into the kitchen. I reluctantly follow.
"Now you're not leaving until I know everything about what happened tonight." she says
"I guess I just had to much to drink." I stutter
"Damn right you did!" She butts in
"And Nia kissed Harry." I admit "I was just letting her know that he's taken. I was fighting for my right isn't that what you always tell me to do?!" I scream
"Don't you raise your voice at me miss!" She says showing no sense of sorrow.
"If Nia's parents decide to sue us for what you did. I will have to defend my own daughter in court. how do you think that would look?!" She continues
"Couldn't other people at the firm do it?" I question
"No one is free because I just finished a case I'm the only one that will be able to defend you. How do you think that would look? Go to bed Anna." she points up stairs I follow her finger.
I pick up the phone to ring Nia.
"Hello?" She answers
"Nia." I say
"Anna OMG are you ok?! Is everything ok?!" She asks
"Yeah I'm ok how's your car?" I ask not really wanting to know the answer.
She lets out a deep sigh "it's pretty messed up. I don't know why they arrested you though. you were just trying to help catch the person who did this!" Nia babbles on
"Anyway got to go don't worry I know you were trying to help!" Nia hangs up the phone.
