"No Name?"
"Yep Jane doe. no keys, cellphone or ID nothing." I hear the police say.
"Who found her?" One asks through a walk-e talk-e
"A hiker said he found her looking lost and confused." The man answers as he stares at me.
"Better put in a request for a mental evaluation." He says as he begins to pick me up from under my arms.
"Rodger that." The lady on the other end answers
"Come on" the man gets me on my feet and he drags me along as I am in no position to walk.
"Harry..." I mutter under my breath as my feet drag behind me. He gently places me in the back of the car and we drive off. We drive past the ambulance investigating the crash.
"Harry." I mumble. we drive in complete silence for three hours and end up at a mental hospital. I'm questioning it in my head but not out loud. I'm perfectly sane so why am I here?
"Ok I'm gonna need your cooperation here Jane. I need you to walk. I'll hold you but you need to do most of the work ok?" He asks. I stop looking helplessly out the window at the rain pouring down and give him a slight nod.
"I'll get the door for you." he jumps out the car and rushes to my side. I unlock my seatbelt and wait in the car. He opens the door and I'm welcomed with a huge gust of rain and wind. My arms start to form goosebumps. My legs are soon to follow. We make the walk up to the front door of Timid Lakes Mental Rehabilitation. The mans swipes his member card and it makes a little beep and the doors open we walk inside and I'm given a white robe to change into.
"The change room is to the left." the lady at the front desk points. I walk over there "oh and you'll need these." she throws me a pair of white slippers. I catch them and continue to walk to the change room. I hear the muffled voices of the man and the lady at the front desk talking about me.
"She's a 302" I hear him say. I tear off my drenched blue dress and slip on the almost see through white gown and unbuckle my shoes. I place my feet into the huge slippers and shuffle out to see the man again. I hand him my clothes and he takes me to a room. he swipes his card and the same beeping noise happens. "Welcome to your new home." he slams it shut and I fall into the bed.
"This is my life." I mutter
"Timid lakes." I raise my voice ever so slightly.
