Following a random blonde kid into a camp out in the woods because a pretty woman told you too might not have been the smartest choice. What was she meant to do? It's not like she could go back now. But honestly- if a Goddess and a God showed you decent kindness, and 'sponsored you' in a sense, you may just want to go with the flow.
Don't get her wrong, Will Solace is a great guy. Their walk, as you can guess though, was awkward. Her mind couldn't focus on one thing, practically flying across the scenery anytime there was a slight change. And there were a lot of those. Will, on the other hand, was a bit confused. She looked older than him, so how had she survived so long away from camp? It didn't make much sense to him. Being respectful though, he decided not to question her. He could tell Sage was tired based on how she wobbled every so often and held the Cyclops tooth toward her chest.
Sage's eyes nearly sparkled as she saw what seemed to be the camp's entrance. Or, one of them.
The pair was entering the camp from the strawberry fields. Now, Sage may have had to learn to forage to survive- but she'd never seen a farm this large! She took a few steps forward, hoping to get a closer look, only for Will to grab her arm lightly.
"You should probably get a check up before you frolic with the Nymphs,"
"Nymphs?"
He blinked. "Nature spirits? If you like nature, I'm sure you'll get along just fine,"
Her brows furrowed as Will tugged her along the path.
Honestly, seeing all this in person was making it really difficult to act like she didn't care. With Lady Ariadne and Lord Dionysus, that at least made sense to her. She already understood their existence and believed in the Gods of practically any Pantheon, there wasn't any reason they couldn't be real.
As much as she understood that, she couldn't understand that she was a Demi-God. She wouldn't make much of an effort to understand it until saw Lord Dionysus again and confirmed with herself that she wasn't sent away to some strange cult.
Well- a weirder cult than whatever Camp Half-Blood was.
From what Lady Ariadne told her, they trained Demi-Gods to survive. Sweet! But they also sent them on quests that they would likely die on with little to no reward other than to please the Gods? Not sweet! Sage didn't like that much, but if she received any form of validation or praise, she would make do.
Her nose scrunched at the scent of oil and fire.
Eyes rising she saw Will motion toward what she assumed was the forge without a word, as if sensing how tired she was. Nodding in response she let him tug her toward a large, blue house.
"This is The Big House," he started, "It's basically like- the main administration building,"
"Mhm," She hummed, eyeing the large building.
