The water was freezing, though that was to be expected. Sage couldn't help but inhale as her body hit the water, resulting in, well, her nearly drowning. Great news! She didn't nearly drown for nothing, and not for long.

A green, foggy woman approached from the water, a playful smile on her lips. It was Sage's dear Naiad friend, whom had yet to give her their name. Her smile dipped slightly as she noticed Sage's lack of air, but she quickly jumped into action, pulling Sage out and tossing her onto the shore gently.

Seeing her friend exit the water, Annabeth was quick to tug her into her embrace, trying to warm her up. It helped a bit, but in the current situation, Sage couldn't prioritize her own comfort.

Sage's teal eyes flew toward the new additions, stumbling to her feet to make sure they were alright. Her hands found Leo's shoulders, tilting his face to check for injuries before nodding to herself and making her way to Piper.

While she didn't see Leo's flushed face, Piper for sure did, it didn't matter though, since she reacted the same way.

Jason Grace was lucky she got stopped before she made it to him.

"Annabeth, Sage!" A familiar blonde boy shouted as he pushed through the crowd. "I said you could borrow the chariot, not destroy it!"

"Will, I'm sorry," Annabeth sighed, tugging the slightly delirious Sage back into her arms. "I'll get it fixed, I promise."

Will scowled at his broken chariot. Then he sized up Piper, Leo, and Jason. "These are the ones? Way older than thirteen. Why haven't they been claimed already?"

"Claimed?" Leo asked.

As Sage opened her mouth to explain, Will said, "Any sign of Percy?"

"No," Annabeth admitted.

The campers muttered, shifting around uncomfortably. They clearly didn't enjoy this news.

Once again, Sage opened her mouth to explain claiming to Leo, who was still waiting. But guess what? She was interrupted again, hooray!

Another girl stepped forward—tall, Asian, dark hair in ringlets, plenty of jewelry, and perfect makeup. Somehow she managed to make jeans and an orange T-shirt look glamorous. She glanced at Leo, fixed her eyes on Jason like he might be worthy of her attention, then curled her lip at Piper.

"Well," the girl said, "I hope they're worth the trouble."

Leo snorted. "Gee, thanks. What are we, your new pets?"

"No kidding," Jason said. "How about some answers before you start judging us—like, what is this place, why are we here, how long do we have to stay?"

Sage stepped forward slightly.

"Deep breathes, Zappy." Sage said, "Don't flip, you'll get your answers, I promise. And Drew-"
