How long had you been staring at each other was something lost in time itself.

"Um..." Albert watched. "Seems you both are acquainted with each other. But Sir Bakugo, your popsicle is making a mess on my floor."

Catching the attention of the boy, he looked down at the pool of orange that rained from the stick.

"Oh-uh, I'm sorry." He tried to finish the remains on the stick but his expression changed as soon as a storm of cold hit him. You laughed at his pain. Albert chuckled too. "Stop laughing. Why the hell are you here?!"

"Why can I not be here?" You reply.

"I mean, quit following me."

"Listen here, blonde, no one is following anyone. Ya ain't some celebrity I'd wanna be around. So quit ya whining, I live around here." It seemed like the woman from the convenience store's way of speaking rubbed off on you.

"DON'T CALL ME BLONDE" he snapped. After watching him startle you with his sudden outburst he says, "I'm sorry". Rather than saying it to you, he turns to speak to Albert.

"Um. I'll have the Miss' things checked and then I'll get to you Sir Bakugo." You give him the supplies. The boy made himself invested in the box of supplies the sir brought out for him.

"How many shipments of lenses came in," he asked as nothing happened. His attitude was different as if it was just him and Sir Albert.

"One crate. How many did you need?"

"Could I get three more?" He set the box that had a lense drawn in front down. The sides of it showed the moon and stars.

"Lady L/N, could you wait here while I assist Sir Bakugo and get some change for the register," you nod. Behind the counter was a frame with a curtain, he walks through allowing you to peek at the shelves full of other items.

You look at the things you laid on the counter, a chill running through you as if someone was observing your actions. Afraid to look, you turn around to go to the aisles to "look for something".

Instead, you sneakily look at the boy. He was bent low to the golden dog. Maze sniffed his hand and he didn't pull back. A smile wrapped around him and the dog rubbed her fur on his hand.

Maze doesn't like strangers, but she likes him?! You betrayed me!!! You used to come for cuddles to ME even if it was hot outside you would come to me! Because through my gloves it was always warm, you liked me and my warm hands. How could you do this?!

You pout at the dog. Grabbing some string, you walk out to the front. You didn't want it to look like you just left for nothing, that would be questionable.

The boy quickly stood up. Sir Albert came back with some change and what the boy requested.

He finished ringing your items and you grab it, slightly bowing to show your respect and head out.

Not long after walking in the heat, your cramps kicked in, they were less painful. It wasn't bad when you were distracted but now it was you and your wandering mind.

Only another day before your period usually ends and then life will be fine, as soon as the excess blood leaves your body.

You sit down on a bench near a park. Maze started barking at a squirrel. You take off your white gloves and rest them on the bench. Leaning your elbows on your knees, you cup your heated face.

The shadow on the ground reflected the tree shading you above and your figure.

Wouldn't it suck being a shadow? Just stuck following around a person while you are always behind them. You're not even in control of what you can do, a puppet or a doll is what a shadow really is.
