You find yourself in an empty dark place. It felt nostalgic. Your feet were cold and wet. Hadn't you been fighting with Katsuki, he had shown you some tricks to confuse your enemy. Did you take a break? Did you fall asleep?

Taking a step the water-like fluid beneath your feet moved too.
A light shines bright and with its blinding light comes pain. You grasp your heart.
A heart attack? No, you were alive just in pain. Finally, air rushes to your lungs allowing you to breathe freely. You look at your hands that trembled from the sudden attack, black had replaces the blue veins and you looked paler.

You walk to the light, the darkness fading behind you with every step you took. It had been long since you'd been to the unconscious mind.

The closer you got to the light, the more you could see which led you to look at the fluid that wrapped around your ankles.

Black. Why was it black? Was the fluid always black?
Ignoring your own question, you hear something. A cry for help, a voice full of pain and agony.

Come to me. Please don't leave.
It cried out.

How can I help you if I do not know what you are?

You call back.

How could you forget me when I haven't been gone for long.

You walk towards the voice.

Who are you?

As you enter the cold room you see the figure.
Gemstones pilled into a mountain with a throne red as blood. The girl that sat on it had long ruby hair that stopped to her roots. Veins circulating around her red glowing eyes and porcelain-like skin. She was terrifyingly beautiful but what was more terrifying was the fact she looked like you.

Black ink like water ran down her eyes, staining her pretty face.

Kia!

STOP. D-Do NOT come close.

You stop as ordered. The same ill feeling crept up you and you grasp your chest in pain, panting. It was quicker than the last attack but more sharpening. It felt like some stuck a knife through your chest, turning it around to torture your soul rather than your body. Your vision had become blurry and the corners turned darker.

Kia grabbed the staff at her right, the red stick reaching above her head as she stood next to it. The orb was ruby red but transparent, where crimson red wind swirled inside, trapped.

She slammed the staff on the ground, an echo sent with a vibration past you. Your ears ring from the pressure and the quick wind stung your eyes so you close them tight.

Opening your eyes to see a new vision. In front of you stood a giant gate with intricate golden designs.

Where am I?

You know of this place. It was where we first met as little kids.

Kia stood behind you as you turn in a rush to face her.

You hate me.

Yes, I do.

No, you don't.

W-

If you did you wouldn't be weak. And with that, you couldn't make me weak.

What are you talking about? I know more about my feelings and I know I resent you.

You can lie but I live along with your subconscious mind. Your words say something different from what you show.
