Stain stood at the top of the tall buildings. Looming over the Hosu City until the purple warp appears behind him. Three figures walkout, Kurogiri, Dabi, and Shigaraki.

"Hosu City looks nicer than I expected," his raspy voice caught the blowing wind. Stain stands, firmly looking down at the civilians.

"'Hero' is a title given only to those who have accomplished great deeds!" Dabi didn't care about his addiction to heroes and Shigaraki just made him tag along to watch the villain attack.

"He's so noble I could cry," Shigaraki adds. "Kurogiri, bring out the Nomus."

The deadly beast-like creatures that Dabi saw once, it was sure to cause lots of damage in this place. Kurogiri followed the orders and not long after many Nomus appeared, ready to obey command from Shigiraki. Dabi watched quietly not caring for anything they did. He was part of the league and therefore he was often on standby.

__________

A turtle neck shirt that was netted, transparent yet dark. The black tint of the vest-like shirt didn't show much skin. Black pants to match the attire with its baggy ends forced into the high boots. The boots started just below the knee and its solid black base had tints of gold and white edges. The belt around your waist had kunai knifes dangling not so low. The sleeveless shirt was put together with a long black jacket. It was light and breathable which was suitable for fights. The jacket stopped around your thighs, the pockets big enough to fit anything.

You wore the jacket around your shoulders, not putting your hands through the sleeves and letting them dangle with the wind while your arms were free to move. Your hair pushed back out off your face, that was your hero outfit. The new one your sister and you had been working on, the work and stitches were done and it had finally arrived for you.

You walk hand in hand with Shoto. His father moving in front, the Hosu City looked big from the ground view and you were patrolling the area from the latest threat of Stain. He was the villain killing and mostly targeting heroes.

You watch Shoto stop to look over at his phone, "Midoriya sent his location," he murmured.
There must be a reason for that but Shoto looked restless suddenly. Without hesitation, he ran the other way so you ran after him following the way he went.

Passing a dark figure, you flinch and step back to look over at the alleyway. Shoto had run off far ahead, but you wandered deeper into the dark creep of the alley. You look around for the person you saw, without doubt, it was another villain.

"I thought it was you y/n," the figure spoke. You turn to face the boy, realizing who it was.

"Dabi."

He leaned on the wall with his arms crossed. "What are you doing here?" He asked.
You walk over and lean next to him, unafraid of his existence; never really afraid to begin with. He looked up, his turquoise eyes gleaming at the street lights from the end of the ally.

When you don't speak he continues, "you've grown quite a lot. I still remember you putting out my cigars back in the day."
You chuckle at those moments, you yelling at him for smoking. It was hard for him to stop but you were consistent in tormenting him until he broke the habit. He as your guard was a nice time even if you were a hostage.

"Ya. Those days are different from now. I don't have the same people around me." You lose yourself in thought. About life-changing and the biggest one was Kia was gone. How long had it been already? Few days for sure but you didn't keep time. You just woke following along with others and slept if your nightmares didn't consume you.
You came to regret ever hating Kia, repeating how you should have reminded her how much she really meant instead of hiding your emotions or lying.

The power she left was a burden to your life. As you climbed the mountain to your success you decided it was best to give up. Was the height of that mountain even reachable? Were you being too optimistic? You don't want to use her abilities, it was never yours.

A rabbit hole is where your mind fell into, darkness in the alleyway. One for all isn't Midoriya's quirk either. How can he be willing to use Yagi's powers? How does he have that much strength?

Dabi became serious realizing he was talking to himself. Pushing himself off the wall he faced you. "You're hiding again."

"What are you talking about?" You say pushing off and walk towards the lit streets. He loves getting ahead of himself, he couldn't understand; could he?

"You want it to stop... the pain. It's unbearable... the pain." You flinch as he shifts, his steps getting closer to you as he kept talking. "You want to end the pain, using these methods only fills the void for some time and it only fills that hole with lies. What happens when that feeling comes back? The pain can never be gone."

You feel his chest against your back, his breath next to your left ear. "It's like a burn on the fragile skin, how it can never leave. Always haunting you till death," he whispered the last part. "Stop killing yourself. Stop killing the pain."

Pushing the lump down your throat you finally murmured, "so do I use that pain and become a villain. I'm sure Kia wouldn't want that."

"Kia wouldn't want this either."

He knew everything. How the news of losing Kia touched his ears was unknown but he knew it all. He was making it clear: use Kia's powers for the better. Take your pain and use it as fuel to move forward. Make her powers yours.

"Why do you think I can't be part of the League?" You asked suddenly. You straighten yourself up and he steps back a bit.

"Even when were a hostage and your father sold you for his debt, you never truly turned evil."

"Maybe because Kia was there to snap me out of it," you fidgeted with your hands.

"Well, I'm always here if you need a reality check." He laughed jokingly.

You giggle at his foolish side, only shown to you after the effort you put in for him to trust you. "You. One of the people that held me hostage? Rather I should be asking why you haven't tied me up and took me to the League of Villian's new hideout."

"I don't plan on doing that. That's not an order, and I don't even like following orders." Your grim expression makes him realize that's not what you wanted to hear. "You and that other kid seemed to help Todoroki with his quirk. I saw you at the sports festival, how you saved him from freezing to death."

"Ya..." unconsciously answering.

"You saw yourself in him right?" you nod unable to lie any longer. "Back then you were the only one that understood me too. It's nice to have someone who shares a similar experience like you. One of the reasons I feel you can't ever be evil."

"Then why did you give up?"

"I was already dead to the world, like how Kia was a miscarriage to everyone else. There was no place for me so I made one myself."

Did Kia try making a place for herself too?

He pats your head, the warmth of his scarred hands was always welcoming. He helped clear up the fog in your mind after you lost Kia. A blast goes off and you realize it's where Shoto ran. "Shit." Without a goodbye, you run off leaving Dabi behind. To him, it wasn't new and he wasn't offended either.
